Open-space design apt in a historic farmhouse

One out of our five delicately renovated apartments located on the second floor of a charming, characterful farmhouse. It is one of the oldest buildings of a cosy little village in the Valle d’Isarco in Northern Italy. We find ourselves right in the center of sun-blessed South Tyrol, on a hilltop at the entrance of the Gardena and Funes valleys. Close to the dolomites mountains but not far away from the popular towns of Bolzano and Bressanone it is an ideal starting point to explore the region.

Greiterhof - Above the clouds

Stay in an old, idyllic mountain farm, in absolute seclusion. With a view of the Texel Group, 700 m above the valley basin of the city of Merano, you immerse yourself in a small paradise, secluded and far from everyday life. Only the bells of the sheep, the crowing of the rooster and the gentle sounds of the wind chime complement the song of nature. The farm is managed agriculturally and gastronomically. There is also a farm shop, with a wide variety of tasting options (food packages).

In the new climate house standard A-Nature, the modern 2-room apartment with large kitchen is on the top floor. The kitchen island is equipped with comfortable bar stools that can be used as a work, dining and game table. The Boraherd is a nice addition for hobby chefs. Right in front, we find the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. In two minutes on foot you can also reach the Archaeological Museum of South Tyrol, where Ötzi, the ice man, is kept and we are therefore in the heart of the city, with its historic center, its arcades and characteristic places.

If you're looking for more than just a place to sleep, this apartment is for you! The Hugo apartment (125 m²) is a spacious 4-room apartment with a garden (1,500 m²), located in a quiet residential area in Maia Alta, Merano. From this oasis of relaxation, you can reach the city center in 12 minutes on foot and the botanical gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle in 15 minutes. Parking (1 parking space) is available.

The Moandl farm has been in the Goller family for over 100 years. Traditionally, we live from dairy farming and in December 2016 we started offering farm holidays in our newly built farmhouse for the first time.
