House vacation rentals in Lamego

We've had an amazing 4 days here. It's just a perfect location and we felt at home here. The pool, the view, the garden with grill - everything was just perfect. The only 'negative' things, if you can call them negative, is that the bathroom is on a different floor than the bedrooms, and that the parking is a bit tight for a large car. We can fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a private getaway in a beautiful location.

It felt like home when we returned after 6 six years. The place of Laurence & Jorge is in line with the pictures and the view is amazing. The house has everything you need, we really loved the mattresses and the pillows. The house is surrounded by a large garden, and we liked the privacy and the fruit trees in the garden. Getting into the house is easy and communication is perfect. We will definitely return again! We recommend to do some groceries before you arrive, the nearest supermarket is a 15 min drive away. This was a wonderful Airbnb with a great location. The layout of the house was very nice, with thoughtful design woven in throughout. The location was very convenient for walking by foot to restaurants or visiting the downtown. I wish I could have stayed longer :)!

Carlos is a great host. We had a great 4-day vacation with e-bike trips through the beautiful surroundings. E-bikes is a must. A superb place to spend time at. The location of the Villa is fantastic once you reach it via the steep hills. Magnificent view and very well organised. Good service and breakfast. Totally recommended!

The most fantastic stay, we will definitely be back! The location and accommodation was even better than the photos and the host and staff were so friendly and approachable. The views from the entire place were fantastic. A very private and peaceful stay, and the breakfast baskets were very generous, full of fresh fruit, bread etc. We did a wine tasting on the vineyard and it was so reasonably priced and great wine. There was also a lovely peacock and cat that roamed the vineyard and came to say hello on occasion. Both pools were fantastic! Thank you for a really memorable holiday 🥰.

We spent a few wonderful days in this house and were absolutely delighted! The house is very clean, well maintained and cozy, you can see that it is really taken care of. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail — there were many useful things in the house that made life more comfortable and convenient. A special pleasure is the spacious terrace with a stunning view. In the mornings, we had breakfast outdoors, enjoying the silence and beauty around. Everything around was very quiet and peaceful — the perfect place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. Hosts are a special thank you! Very friendly, attentive and always ready to help. It was easy and pleasant to communicate with them. This house has become a real cozy corner for us, and we will be happy to come back again!

Cecilia and José's home offers paradisiacal views of the Douro Valley day and night. The apartment is cozy, cozy, ideal for a romantic stay, the terrace is fantastic, both for sunbathing with views of vines and olive trees and for a starry sky bath. Cecilia and José are welcoming and caring hosts, we had a good time with them, their homemade Porto is exceptional, the oranges of the garden were perfect for breakfast . We highly recommend this place and will be happy to go back. The small village of Marmelal is very pretty and welcoming. Thank you very much!

This was a fantastic place to stay. A peaceful and serene location away from the hubbub of the big city. We really enjoyed our stay here. It had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the beautiful surroundings and there were trails along the river to walk and enjoy nature. We also drove to other towns such as Amarante and the other small villages which is always nice to visit. The hosts were fantastic and we really appreciated their flexibility in letting us check in early. We had a stressful time getting out of Porto, so we appreciated them letting us check in earlier to decompress. Thank you for everything.

The house is on enclosed private property. Last stretch of road is unpaved. Great to do. House is large and very neat. We slept well and were able to make excursions on our transit!

Tastefully decorated and warm home! A little isolated, you have to like the calm, the countryside… it was what we were looking for Nuno is very welcoming!

When we first saw Mario’s place and the fact it was a perfect five stars from all previous guests - it was difficult to believe. But we immediately upon arrival understood why this was a perfect 5 stars…this is an incredibly special property - from the streams, waterfalls, history as an olive press, trails, peacefulness - this place was absolutely one of a kind. All in our group agreed this place, of all the places we’ve stayed in the world, was truly truly special….if we could give more than 5 stars - we would. Mario and Cila were fantastic hosts and incredibly responsive and the amenities and nice touches throughout made us feel right at home - better than home. Such a wonderful stay.

The accommodation is located in a quiet village in the middle of the upper Douro vineyard and surrounded by vineyards. The only service available in the village is a small association under the Parish Council, which operates part-time (which also harms the privacy of the pool). Despite this there is sales of walking bread. The nearest large commercial areas are in Régua, about 15 minutes away by car. The Hosts were very friendly and provided all the necessary clarifications. Accommodation is great for a family break.

Lovely house in a great quiet location. Everything you might need in the kitchen. Easy access (by car) to Pinhao and Douro valley and wine producing area. Recommended!

Very peaceful setting with a beautiful view of the mountains.

Carmen’s home was the perfect place for our Douro Valley excursion. It was quiet, comfortable and the view was unbeatable. The private pool was a relief to come back to after a day of site seeing. She also quickly provided help when we had car trouble and were having difficulty communicating with the mechanic. I would highly recommend Carmen’s place for a beautiful, relaxing visit.

Wonderful stay, weekend with friends in a very spacious, clean and very well decorated house. The outdoor space is also amazing, the pool is a very reasonable size and has a very beautiful view. They were very friendly and helpful throughout the process, definitely to be repeated!!

Quiet location (which was what we wanted), excellent house, views, spacious (inside and outside/garden), lots of extras/gifts from the host, who was impeccable. I recommend it and we'll possibly return with warmer temperatures.

This place was in a perfect location. The accommodations were clean and the little balcony was a wonderful spot for evening wine and morning coffee. We were a bit confused as there is no house number and another older bustling across the street by the same property management company but with a super quick response we were able to locate right away. I highly recommend the River restaurant right next door for one of the most amazing meals I had while in Portugal!
