We needed to enjoy a quiet moment, to rest for a long weekend of three days. The listing at this address seemed ideal, the reviews all unanimous… well… it's even better than we could have hoped for. The loft is very comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated, rare cleanliness…the best thing is the little touches all around you. The exterior is also very neat, swimming pool, jacuzzi accessible at any time and private, there is everything you need to feel good. Well, we could go on for a long time with the superlatives… breakfasts… meals…massages… but the icing on the cake is the hosts Anne-Lise and Frédéric… whose kindness and discretion complete this perfect and timeless moment. The house has just been renovated, it is very spacious and airy, the place is quiet in a beautiful countryside while being close to 2 villages with small restaurants or shops. Jonathan is super nice.

Anouk's house is amazing. We had an amazing weekend there. The setting, the view, the neighbors, the beds, everything was perfect. The garden is soothing, we felt incredibly good. Anouk is responsive, friendly and accommodating. No complaints, apart from being great.

We highly recommend Olivier's wine! We stayed there for a weekend with friends and our children. They didn't leave the garden, and the trampoline, and we the deckchairs in the sun:) The cottage is close to many tours, walks and activities. Olivier was very welcoming (thank you again for the many cherries!), very available and warm. Go there without a second thought.

We booked Benoit's house for Christmas. The very well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook at our leisure and the large veranda to host the whole family for New Year's Eve. The bedding in the house is very comfortable and the overall layout is lovely. The house is very well soundproofed (between rooms and with the outside). As a bonus, Benoît had prepared a Christmas tree with fairy lights. We highly recommend this listing for a stay in the area. The village of Saint-Vincent-de-Barrès is also very cute for a walk. We'll be back!

Very pleasant and well-equipped accommodation: superb unobstructed view, large spaces, Nordic bath, sauna, brazier, dishwasher, raclette appliances etc. Note that the bedding is quality. We also note the internet connection which is very good, we were able to telework 7 without problem with a very good speed. The person who greeted us was very friendly. You have to plan your shopping because the village is far away but once there is really everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Anne and Jérémy are adorable and the setting is great. I hope to be able to come back as soon as possible 🙂

I thank our host for this very warm welcome, Laurent is a responsive host and full of good advice. The accommodation was great, a beautiful atmosphere with a magnificent and peaceful view. In the accommodation, there is everything we needed so nothing more to say than thank you it was great!

We stayed in Frederique's cottage for two nights. It was very clean with an abundance of little extras to make our stay homely. Frederique was very welcoming to us and our border collie dog. The surroundings were very peaceful in a glorious setting with fabulous views.

Charming village house, renovated in the mountain style with very pleasant garden strip despite a strong opposite. Lots of small touches from our very welcoming host. A brand new and well-equipped cocoon. It's all there, you won't miss anything! Easy parking nearby. In short, nothing to complain about the quality of the home where we felt very well. We were visiting for a trail run in Désaignes and with this in mind the location met our expectations. For vacationers, take into account that it is still very secluded in mountain roads. No shops in the village but an average surface area 15 min by car. Beautiful hikes possible in the area, but very few activities outside. Short spot ideal for disconnection!

Thanks for your hospitality! We had a lovely weekend in peace:) The screens are a real plus even if it was not the big period of insects yet because it's really rare to find them!

We had a lovely family weekend. We particularly enjoyed the different indoor and outdoor spaces allowing you to sit quietly to play, talk, rest. The calm of the place promotes rest. We met the contact person on site who is very friendly as well as Melinda's in-laws who managed, before, the adjacent butcher shop, and in which we were able to store our 6 traveling road bikes. Then we were able to do anything on foot. The accommodation is in the heart of the village. Would recommend. Nathalie.

We really liked Veronique’s house. Four of us stayed, there was more than enough space for us all. The house is very well equipped with pretty much everything we needed and more. The garden is full of places to sit, which is really nice. It is spacious and full of bird song. The house has huge character and is in lovely condition. The stairs between the floors are quite steep and narrow but we soon got used to them. Having multiple bath/shower rooms and toilets was very helpful. Access to the property is a little tricky but once we found it things were fine. If you are a not so steady on your feet be aware that access by foot is uneven, but it is no problem. It is also not flat. Parking down in the village car park was easy and safe. The area is very quiet and highly recommended, a lovely part of France. The markets in Lamastre are excellent as are many of the local options for meals, but be aware the best of them are lunchtime only without going a bit further afield.

Beautiful and impeccable accommodation, tastefully decorated. We had a lovely stay with friends, the older ones as well as the younger ones :)
