Cottage vacation rentals in Lakeport

We had a great family long weekend. The weather was beautiful for us too. There were fun places to go that were not far. We were also happy to have people close with boats that took us out for a day at a sand bar.

Had a great stay at this cottage! Very private, really nice beach, and great cottage! Would highly recommend for a weekend away!

Jamie's lakefront home was the most wonderful stay for my quaint bachelorette weekend. Jamie was incredibly helpful, kind, and went above and beyond in providing us with goodies as well as recommendations for local restaurants, etc. She even put up an adorable "girls weekend" sign on her mantel in the family room, which was so sweet! The house was clean and absolutely perfect for our needs. The water was hot, and the back porch area and hot tub were perfect! Also, Downtown Lake Orion was so cute and perfect with walkable coffee shops, boutique stores, and amazing spots for dinner and drinks! We couldn't recommend Jamie's home more. What an awesome weekend!

We had an amazing stay at the Cozy Cottage. Place was exactly as described - great space inside kitted out with everything we needed. Bed was super comfy and the hot tub and sauna were both excellent. Hosts were great - easy to communicate with any helpful with local recommendations. It’s a really private and peaceful getaway - we will be back for sure.

Great host. Great home. Very clean and updated home. This place had everything available for us. Extra towels, lots of pillows, lots of sleeping spaces. The kitchen was also equipped with everything needed! I’m hoping to return again. I would like to recommend this to anyone who needs a spot in Grand Bend. Hot tub and sauna were very nice. We were offered early check in and late check out which was very nice.

The home was just like the pictures! House was extremely clean, not an ounce of dust whatsoever!! House was fully stocked with anything that you may need! Host communicated well and quickly! Will most definitely be returning for a family trip this year!!

My goodness, what beautiful place! We all really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this home to anyone! We could not believe how active the wildlife was right there in front of us! So many fish, and with the two bald eagles that live right across the river what a show! We watched one fly down and grab a fish from the water at take it back to it’s partner in the tree! Them very huge healthy birds made many appearances during our stay, and we all enjoyed the great Canadian adventure very much!

We stayed here a few nights. Its a beautiful cottage with both outdooe and indpor space that was wonderful.

Cottage was very cozy and decorated with many special touches. Anything you can think of was provided. Nicole’s place was very clean and we were very comfortable with plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time away from home. Nicole’s communication exceeded our expectations. We will definitely consider coming back to stay!!!

Jane’s place was the perfect getaway for a long weekend to relax and rewind. Jane was very communicative the whole process. I liked that she had a detailed guidebook for everything you could possibly need to know. The home is spacious with plenty of sleeping room for all our guests and our beloved dog. It’s a very quiet area and was lovely sitting outside listening to the birds chirp. The beach is only a short walk from the home and we caught the sunset two nights while we were there. Weather permitting you can sit outside and enjoy the fire. While we were there we visited the Pinery park which I highly recommend and is only a 20 minute drive if you like trails and hiking. We drove through most of the park making stops along the way. We also visited Ipperwash beach which is a short drive from the home and close to local restaurants and ice cream parlors. We also checked out the herb garden and Cynthia was super helpful!

This is a beautiful home for a family. We enjoyed the space and it was very cozy for us. The price was great and near family. We spent most of our trip hanging out at the house and enjoying each other’s company. I would recommend staying here and we will probably return.

Always a wonderful experience staying here (third time!). Clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay. Randy is accommodating and easy to get ahold of for any questions or concerns as well. Looking forward to future stays here!

We arrived after dark the first day, in the morning we awoke to amazing views and the tranquility of the waves crashing and wind blowing through the leaves. The cottage is very quaint and cozy. Perfect weekend getaway.

Svitlana's place is better than it shows in the photos. The view from the living room is priceless. It's so nice enjoying your morning coffee having such a nice view of the lake in front of you. No matter the season there are a lot of things to do in the area. Svitlana was an amazing host and provided with lots of recommendations.

We had an amazing weekend at Sinan’s home! The cottage is in a beautiful area, and it was extremely clean. It was well stocked with anything we could have needed. The basement area is so cozy, and there’s tons of puzzles and games. Our main priority was staying somewhere clean, and this home was great. We would definitely come back here!

The place was located very close to town. Neighborhood was quiet and friendly. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable and clean. Smelled wonderful. Check in was easy. Check out was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again. Very affordable

An older lakeside cottage that’s been updated with some modern touches. The double lot gives you access to the canal right outside the living room and across the street the sunsets over the lake are just incredible. Great fishing, beautiful views, and overall just an easy stay. No AC was a concern but between the windows and the fans we never had a problem.

Alex was a great host. Always responded and was very helpful, had great local recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Cottage was in a great location for the fishing trip would definitely book again.

Cottage was perfect for the 4 of us. Had everything we needed. Completely stocked with essentials and beyond. Julie had nice touches everywhere. Amy and Beau’s place was incredible. We were able to take the kayaks out and paddle out to the bridge. We also enjoyed the comfortable accommodations—especially the beds. A fire pit at night completed the weekend. We will definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful stay, it was truly a hidden gem! The lake was beautiful, and the space was both roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the view was absolutely lovely. Just a heads up to be prepared to do some cleaning before you leave, as outlined in the description and instructions. There is a cleaning checklist, and guests are expected to vacuum, mop, and tidy up to help ensure the next visitors enjoy a clean space as well. All in all, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend it. Thanks for the great stay and the lasting memories!

Cute cozy place to stay for a couple that just needed a one night get away. The city of Lake Orion was super cute too!

We loved staying at Alysia’s place! It was a quiet and peaceful location with a fantastic backyard space right up against the canal. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with essential cooking items. There were even dog bowls, toys and a tie-out. We would definitely stay here again!
