Vacation rentals in Lake Wappapello

David was extremely helpful when we found ourselves in a bad situation with another Airbnb. He was very responsive, very hospitable, and helpful. I would recommend his rental as a 10/10.

My husband and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary with an amazingly peaceful stay! We arrived to the cutest welcome sign wishing us a “Happy Anniversary” along with celebratory drinks. There was absolutely everything we needed and more! We met Roger when he checked in to see if we needed anything! Barb was always very quick to respond and overly helpful! We have already started making plans for our return hopefully next year! Thanks again ❤️

Robbie was extremely helpful, very much appreciated the flexible check in. Was very much what I needed. Convenient yet cozy location tucked in the woods. House was well stocked with amenities. Always appreciate pet-friendly stays.

This house delivers on every level. The views are fantastic. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but a grocery store is only 10 min away. And the hosts made sure we had everything we needed from propane and firewood, To even giving a gift and some s’mores ingredients!

Great stay in a good location. House was as described and very clean. Best stay that we have had in Poplar Bluff.

The place was exactly what we needed and had plenty of space for us to spread out. Beds were comfortable. Loved having laundry available.

this has become our new home away from home. My girlfriends and I metal detect at a local event each year and this will certainly be where we will be staying each year. Thanks so much to Josh and his wife for creating a beautiful place to stay.

Absolutely perfect!!! Our family was looking for a place big enough to comfortably accommodate us. There were seven of us & we were celebrating three birthdays. Julie's place certainly fit the bill! Our entire family loves Current River! Even though we are in the cold month of February, we could still enjoy the beauty of the river & it's surroundings. Magnificent views from River Blue Cabin! The cabin was very welcoming. The layout was great for our bunch. The added bonus of having two separate living areas & kitchens was perfect! It was cozy yet everyone had their space. The kitchens were very well set up with most everything you might need. ( Liked the coffee mugs so much in the upstairs kitchen that I ordered a set for home.) Our host, Julie, was very accommodating & so responsive! There were four generations of us staying in River Blue Cabin & we had a great experience! Many laughs & memories made! Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful cabin!!!

Spent a long Labor Day Weekend there. First impressions... easily one of the nicest homes in the area. Home was spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable. The other guests commented how clean it was (I agree!). There is a campground nearby but you would never know it. It was whisper quiet. The neighbors were polite and very friendly. Aaron and Valjeane were not only very pleasant but they also went the extra mile to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The Current River was beautiful as always. The sand on their beach really made a difference (versus gravel) and the kids couldn't get enough of it. The hosts were also gracious enough to allow a couple of extra hours for our kids on the beach after check-out, which is a big deal and was exceedingly kind of them. If you're wanting some time on the river and fun in the sun, this is the place to do it. Can't say enough good things about the hosts or their beautiful home. Thank you kindly, Aaron and Valjeane. Five stars all day long.
