Vacation rentals with a patio in Lake Wakatipu

The place is up on fernhill, which gives us a great view of the lake. Very peaceful, and we had a great time there

I would definitely book this place again. The location was perfect, the scenery from outside the balcony and seeing that view everyday in the morning and night was beautiful and overall the amenities and services given and provided were great. What I loved the most about this place was the location, it was a walking distance to QT CBD where we did quite a few activities and attractions such as the “Skyline Gondola and Luge”, “KJet Boat Ride”, “Fear Factory”, “Ice Bar” just to name a few popular things to do in QT and many more. Although, there was one thing I disliked about the area was the driveway. There is a steep hill to get to the place so if you decide to drive in definitely wouldn’t recommend a big car especially when the road is wet as it could be a struggle for some people driving up the hill. Other than that, nothing else I could dislike about the place besides the steep driveway. Thanks to the host team for accommodating us and being super responsive.

We highly recommend this accommodation! From start to finish, Tom, our host, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfectly tailored to our stay. We were warmly welcomed with a thoughtful gift, and Tom checked in regularly to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The unit itself was spotless, cosy, and warm, a true home away from home. And the views..OMG.. Absolutely breathtaking easily the best in Queenstown! Every detail was carefully considered, making our holiday truly relaxed and stress-free. A heartfelt thank you to Tom and the entire hosting team for such a memorable experience!

Tim’s place was absolutely stunning! The views are incredible and the home is the perfect size. We’re a young family with a toddler and the space was excellent, the front deck overlooking Shotover was a great spot to burn toddler energy. It was easy to find, Tim’s directions were clear and easy to understand. Close to Queenstown itself but also to Arrowtown which was perfect.

We really appreciated having a clean, convenient space for our 2 night get away to the city. We are from the states staying in Twizel but wanted to come to the city for a few nights. The place was perfect with all the amenities. Great for kids. Loved the balcony views! Can’t beat it!

The house is really close to downtown, although there is a steep hill walking up if you have no cars. It is equipped with so many cooking utensils and seasonings for cooking, that what I love the most! Also, You can see lake wakatipu from windows.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The host is friendly and always quick to reply and eager to help. During my trip, I had a small unexpected issue, and the host went out of their way to assist me. I really appreciated their kindness and support. The apartment itself is well-organized, and very comfortable. It had everything I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, as well as a washing machine and dryer. I would love to stay here again if I return to the area:)

We had an amazing stay! The lake view from our place was absolutely stunning. The location was super convenient—so close to the airport and major supermarkets like Pack’n Save. Check-in and check-out were the easiest we’ve ever experienced. The interior was beautifully designed and made our stay feel extra special. We spent three nights here during my dad’s 60th birthday trip, and my parents loved it so much that we’re already talking about coming back. Everything was spectacular!

Getting to the room from the airport was super easy with either Uber or bus, with the stop just at the end of the street. Check in was simple and William provided a booklet with all the information plus more, such as bus schedules, local restaurants, walk recommendations etc. The location is fantastic, we enjoyed the privacy and the amazing views of the lake and mountains every morning. The 2 portable heaters were more than enough to keep the room warm. Be wary that in the winter the driveway does get slippery when iced over in the mornings and at night. It would’ve been nice to have some extra towels, even though we did use the washing machine however it is difficult to dry them quickly enough in the room. Overall, would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to visit and explore Queenstown.

Arriving at Tess's home was an absolute delight! The property is simply breathtaking with its modern design and stunning views of the hills and river valley below. This charming rural home boasts four bedrooms, a beautiful living room that connects to the fully equipped kitchen stocked with all the essentials you could need. The beds were incredibly comfortable with luxurious linens, making it hard to get up on some mornings with the fresh air flowing through the open sliding door. We had a blast doing yoga on the well-maintained lawn and sipping drinks on bean bags while watching the sunset. Queenstown is a dream destination with so much to offer - from wineries and bike rides in Arrowtown to thrilling activities like jet boating, funyaking, bungy jumping, and zip-lining. My husband and I had the best time at this beautiful suite! So spacious and incredible views. Only an 8 minute drive into Queenstown and the private spa bath was an absolute stand out! Josh and Alana’s were excellent hosts, and the suite was an absolute delight to stay in!

We had a wonderful stay! Our hosts were welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. We felt right at home. The property itself is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our own meals. It struck the perfect balance: private and peaceful, yet just a short drive or bike ride to some good restaurants. We especially appreciated the little touches that made the space so comfortable. The highlight for my family was Rusty — the hosts’ friendly dog who quickly became a daily companion and source of joy for my child. Watching them play together was such a delight and added an unexpected charm to our visit. This was easily one of our favourite BnB experiences and we would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended for families looking for a restful, well-located getaway with heart.

We enjoyed our stay at Elles home very much! It is very cosy, and has all the expected amenities inside. Jacks Point clubhouse is a short walk away, and has nice food and coffee. The scenery around Jacks Point is absolutely stunning and we will be back!

Very nice house. I stayed alone for 9 days. Spacious, bright and clean. Just that the outdoor terrace and stairs are easy to freeze in winter, so be careful when walking. It's a pleasure to get up every day and open the curtains. It takes about 20 minutes to take a taxi from the house to the commercial area of the town center. The house is only 500 meters away from the Internet-famous coffee shop, boat shed. Walk down the hill and walk along the river for a while and you will arrive. Anyway, everything is perfect.

We had the most incredible stay! The place was immaculately clean and had absolutely everything we needed — and more. The highlight was definitely the amazing hot tub overlooking stunning snow-capped mountains—such a dream to soak and unwind with that view. Fiona and Michael are truly the kindest and most thoughtful hosts — so warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout. We felt completely at home. Ideal place for walking into Arrowtown, where restaurants and walking tracks only 20 mins walk. Beds were very comfortable and warm. Heat pump was always a winner on those cold mornings . So quiet, I didn’t know Laura was next door with her lovely family. Washer/dryer worked well. No one likes to wash coming home after holidays. Thx again Laura, I will be back next year! Heather

We had a lovely and enjoyable stay at Queenstown Mews! We visited Queenstown with our young kids for my husband running the half marathon and this was a fantastic place to stay with young children. There is a beautiful lakeside playground and coffee shop only a stroll down the street through a beautiful garden and everything was in walking distance. Also the dryer and washing machine were fantastic and a must travelling with young kids!!

This property was our home away from home for a whole month! First, we appreciate Guy's proactive communication. There is plenty of living space, and the best part is the spectacular view of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains from the living room balcony. We felt grateful to wake up to it daily. All the basic amenities are included, including cooking supplies/equipment, extra linens, and toiletries. The washer and dryer units were so helpful to have. The garage was also perfect for storing my husband's mountain bike. It's a 10-15 minute very steep walk to and from downtown, so anticipate getting fit during your stay. :) Heads up to future guests who prefer a more tranquil vibe - there is notable noise during holidays and peak periods. The condo complex gets quite busy with visitors frequently being shuttled in and out, so there are car doors slamming, loud voices, etc. which can be heard from the bedroom windows. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and we would return again!
