Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lake View, Chicago

This was the perfect house for a group of 7 adults! The location was great - close to restaurants, shops, the “L”, and Wrigley field. The home is beautiful and clean and nicely furnished. There was enough space for all of us to unpack and relax. The house was thoughtfully equipped with amenities - including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash; coffee creamer; phone chargers; and a French press, Keurig machine, and drip coffee maker. The host was super responsive and helpful- even gave us an early check-in so we could make an afternoon Cubs game on our first day! A note, the Airbnb is literally under the “L”, but there were sound machines and ear plugs in every room- definitely use them! Also, bunk beds upstairs are kid-size - I fit my 5’3” self just fine but if I were taller it would have been tough! The bunk beds in the downstairs room, which is a converted garage, were also tight- watch your head. But overall a great stay and we’d recommend it!

Nicole and Matt’s place is a well-located, spacious apartment perfect for a family of four adults. Situated near Lincoln Park, it’s within walking distance to the park and a fantastic selection of restaurants. Nicole and Matt were also kind enough to provide recommendations and we did enjoy a couple of them. The apartment is clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped for a comfortable 4-day stay. The hosts were very responsive and provided clear check-in instructions. One consideration: the unit is spread over three levels, with the master bedroom on the top floor—potentially challenging for those with mobility issues. The second bedroom, located on the ground floor, lacks natural light and feels a bit confined. Overall, we had a pleasant and convenient stay.

The house is like a page out of an Interior Decorating magazine, an immersion experience. Like the house the grounds were equally beautiful. There was a lot of thought and love in remodeling this property. The hosts were communicative and gracious. It is located in a great neighborhood close to many dining options. I appreciated the modern touches and the cleanliness of the place. I would book this place again. Highly recommended.

I booked Florin’s place for my family coming into town for my wedding! The house was WAY bigger than expected & had plenty of space for 4 kids to play. We loved relaxing on the deck the day after the wedding - it was wonderful & will be a memory I cherish forever. I will be booking again for anyone coming to visit me in Chicago!

My family and I had such a great time here! The house was super clean and beautiful. The master bathroom was GORGEOUS. We will definitely be returning. Arturo was responsive immediately. He answered every question I had and also was very pleasant. The neighborhood is so cute and so many restaurants and bars around. We had a blast! Can’t wait to return.

We were in town for our daughter’s graduation from Loyola and had our other 3 adult children in tow. All 6 of us stayed, and it was a bright, comfortable place to hang out, cook meals and enjoy time together. Very quiet at night. Perfect for us!

Our stay was great for a low key bachelorette party. We appreciated the spaciousness for our group of 7. Beds were comfortable and the common areas were very nice to hang out in. Hayk was also quick to respond to our questions. 10/10

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. It is in a really cute neighborhood and looks like the photos described. Very walkable to things. Everything we needed for our stay was in the house and accessible to us. It is mentioned in the listing that street parking is available but not reserved spaces. Since we knew this, we planned ahead and found parking in the neighborhood which I strongly recommend doing. The street parking was hard to come by on a weekend. Again, this was not an issue for us but do plan ahead. Matt was a great host and if we ever are in town for a cubs game, we would absolutely stay at this place again. It has so much character and they have very clearly maintained the space well. Also we appreciated how extremely clean everything was.

Lin communicated clearly and was helpful throughout the whole process. The space was perfect for our needs, close to the event we were there for and in a lovely neighborhood near a small park close to a variety of great family restaurants. Happy to go back should the need arise.

Highly recommend the Lodge! Shelby & Bob have an amazing place and were so flexible and accommodating. We could not get over how on theme everything in the space was, it was so cool. Simidas very sweet and hospitable. I didn’t need anything but felt cared for. Place is nicer than I thought usually you expect it to be smaller but was very spacious. Great area Felt safe Would come again.

McKinley Park is a safe beautiful neighborhood near the Orange Line. Joyce’s place is spacious, clean and well-appointed.

Antoinette was very accommodating and kind! The stay was very comfortable and homey.all instructions were clear and check-in/check-out was a breeze! We walked over to the bakery ahead suggested in the morning too and it was delicious.

Location is fantastic. Walking distance to beach, red line, buses, great food, shopping, etc. The apartment has a hip vibe and is located in a beautiful neighborhood that we really enjoyed walking through on our way in/out. Free dedicated parking is a huge bonus. Host was very responsive and you can tell they really care about the guest experience. Little things like packages of earplugs by the beds show how thoughtful they are. The neighborhood was pretty quiet most nights but it was nice to have the earplugs available.
