Our family had a wonderful time visiting Te Anau and Milford Sound. The house was a great place from which to base our day trips. The closeness to Lake Te Anau was a plus. We had beautiful vistas all day long. The walking path next to the lake was so inviting and fun for the kids. The house was comfortable with plenty of space for our family of 7. Don’t hesitate to book this Airbnb for your trip to Te Anau and Milford Sound.

Great clean little room with a view. Has everything you could really need given the size and amenities provided by the unit. Think of it like a hotel stay. We loved the ample heating equipment! As far as critiques go, the walls were a little thin and the shower was a little tight & noisy (hard to describe -- it makes cracking noises when you shift your weight in it) but it was overall a really great (& warm!) stay in a very quaint and picturesque town. Thanks for having us!

It's a nice home, very cozy and comfortable. The food and supermarket was just a 5 mins drive away and there is also a beautiful lake right down the house. It was a very nice place to rest and relax especially when you are travelling to visit Milford Sound.

A modern log house is showcased with a sloped roof and expansive glass windows. The deck is visible on the upper level, paired with a lower wrap-around deck. Large boulders and well-maintained grass lead up to the house, framed by a clear blue sky.

Beautiful log home with stunning views and just a seven minute ride into the town center. Could use some outdoor furniture. There are two beanbag type cushy chairs on the front porch and then a not very comfortable small table and pub chairs on the back deck. Beds were very comfortable. Owner was extremely responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this log home!

It's a nice home, very cozy and comfortable. The food and supermarket was just a 5 mins drive away and there is also a beautiful lake right down the house. It was a very nice place to rest and relax especially when you are travelling to visit Milford Sound.
