Waterfront vacation rentals in Lake Te Anau

Perfect place to stay and explore the Fiordlands! Beautiful home with expansive view of Lake Te Anau and easy walk to restaurants, shops, etc. Truly memorable experience and we are all looking forward to returning. The fireplaces were a huge bonus - it was great to wake up and have a coffee while sitting next to them. Also, we very much appreciated the welcoming groceries - what a wonderful touch. I would rank this at the very top of any airBnB I’ve ever stayed at.

Retro is the word - cute and quirky, lots of NZ icons. Plenty of games and books, amazing view from back of house to lake.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s place! The house was modern, spacious ,and spotless. We had an easy time making dinner because everything we needed was provided. The neighbourhood was lovely—we took an evening walk to the lake, had a nice chat with one of the neighbours, and were greeted by another resident’s friendly dog! Highly recommended to stay at Sarah’s place if you’re visiting Te Anau with family or friends :)

Beautiful log home with stunning views and just a seven minute ride into the town center. Could use some outdoor furniture. There are two beanbag type cushy chairs on the front porch and then a not very comfortable small table and pub chairs on the back deck. Beds were very comfortable. Owner was extremely responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this log home!

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was just like the pictures—cozy, clean, and super comfortable. The instructions were clear and helpful, especially the tips for walks. We loved playing board games in the evenings—it felt just like home. Beds were comfy, and it was the perfect little getaway. Would definitely come back!

This is a charming chalet style property with a lovely view. Grant is a really accommodating host. It's really clean and comfortable and a powerful shower. The location is really peaceful and it is a great place to chill out. Ideally located for the Doubtful Sound cruises and 20 mins from Te Anau. On the road to Te Anau you can pick up the Kepler Track (it's signposted off the main road), a lovely forest walk with a suspension bridge. We also rated Redcliff for food in Te Anau

Lovely stay at this apartment. Location was amazing practically on Lake Te Anu and very close to restaurants and the visitor centre. The apartment itself was clean, tidy and made us feel at home. There was no A/C and the living area got really hot due to the large windows but we opened the windows and this helped a little. I would recommend this lovely apartment to anyone visiting Te Anu. Nicole was responsive and helpful with details about the apartment and things to do close by. Thank you for making our stay in Te Anu comfortable.
