Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Lake Te Anau

Cindy's place was great! It's just out of the main town center, so it's quiet and peaceful. But 2 minutes in the car gets you to the middle of Te Anau and all of its restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Actually, I must confess, we didn't really eat much at restaurants, because it was more enjoyable to instead get some take-out and bring it to the well-equipped kitchen and dining area at Cindy's house. It felt just like home. The house was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of beds, and my were they comfortable! We slept great. A real treat was the fireplace, which we ran each night we were there. It warmed the whole house pretty much, and gave a lovely ambience. The whole house was clean and comfortable, and I wouldn't think twice about staying here again next time we're in Te Anau!

Lovely large modern house with private mature back garden. My husband was delighted to encounter a Physetica longstaffi there. Situated in a quiet suburb, it has easy access to the town centre. Would certainly recommend to others.

Fabulous property with a retro, warm feel. We had the best 2 nights, enjoying crisp autumn mornings with views to the mountains from the living room and deck. The underfloor heating in the bathroom ensured total comfort. Sunny and glorious, would love to stay again, thanks Margie.

nice location. amenities are awesome especially the fireplace and bbq grill. note that there's no TV but its good to do stargazing outside if weather permits.

We booked this last minute and were so glad we did! It was a very spacious place with all the needed amenities, comfy bed, and hot shower. The personal touches for us at checkin was also really welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!

I had the most wonderful stay at Vicky and Steve's place! From the moment I arrived I was met with warmth and kindness. Vicky and Steve are incredibly thoughtful and helpful hosts. Their place is absolutely gorgeous, immaculate and brand new, with an incredible attention to detail in every corner. The bed was so comfortable, I felt like I was staying in a luxury hotel. I especially loved the stunning bathtub, as well as the rain shower/hand shower combination, it was pure relaxation! Every little detail was carefully considered, making the entire space not only beautiful but also functional and incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful, stylish, and welcoming place to say. I can't wait to return! Thank you, Vicky and Steve, for creating such a perfect getaway!

David is a good host. He turned on the heater and porch light for us 15 minutes prior to our arrival. The stay is close to everywhere in town, and provides all kinds of pots, dishes, cups and cutlery. We had a wonderful stay at Dave’s cozy place, and will definitely be back if visiting again😄

Great place to stay during my time in Te Anau. Kim at the front was lovely and gave great recommendations for the area. Would definitely stay here again!
