Vacation rentals with breakfast in Lake Pontchartrain

Listing is very accurate. The house is comfortable, spotless clean, well appointed. Walking ( 1/2 mile or so) distance to restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Backyard very inviting, pleasant to relax. Beds so very comfortable. Kitchen, bright and had all amenities you might need. Both a drip coffee machine and a Keurig machine are in the kitchen which was a nice surprise. The welcome snacks of fresh strawberries and cake were a nice touch and appreciated.

Karen was an amazing host. She responded to our needs very fast and was a pleasure. The house was very nice and comfortable and in a great place to walk to restaurants and the trolly.

This charming cottage in Old Town Covington was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway! The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to all the great local restaurants, bars, and shops. We especially loved how close it was to the Covington Trailhead — ideal for morning walks and bike rides. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the host was responsive and welcoming. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to everything Covington has to offer, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

Very lovely place. Walking distance to downtown, events, restaurants. Lovely amenities, beautiful backyard and porch. Street parking. Parking was taken during downtown events. Great experience and beautiful home.

Rik was an awesome host, very easy and quick responses, easy check in, and the place was comfy and clean. This place is very close to all new Orleans has to offer, we took quick Uber rides. Street parking in front of house with no issues. we will definitely be back! Thank you!

One of my favorite Airbnb experiences ever. Was stocked with food, located near everything and in a great area. We walked to Hey Cafe every day and it was perfect. Super spacious, clean and gorgeous!

Classic shotgun apartment that was rustic but with all the amenities you could want. Giuliano was a great host and very helpful when my flight was cancelled. The location was perfect and there was always parking right out front. Would definitely stay here again.

I was in town for a conference and Dan’s place was just perfect for me to recharge after a busy day. There were thoughtful instructions/reminders next to things that you would need every day. It feels like Dan had a crystal ball! Awesome place!

Our stay at The Hotel Perle was amazing! We were impressed with the layout, thoughtfulness and atmosphere throughout our stay. The suite was well thought out and accommodated our group nicely. The staff is friendly, responsive, and helpful. All furnishings, bed linen, towels, and supplies were great! Comfy beds, soft towels, and beautiful bathrooms. I honestly can’t say enough. We would definitely recommend and come back!

Location! Location! Location! Tucked back in a quiet complex with easy walking access to/from all the LSU hot spots. With all the immenities & comforts, place feels like home. Host Casey responded immediately to any requests or concerns & was more than accommodating to our needs during our stay! This place is cute and quiet. Small but fine for a couple. Plus a very friendly little dog that was fun to have welcome us. And right next to beautiful Audubon Park for walking or golfing. Walkable to the street car.

Loved our stay. The Garden District was so quaint and was a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle downtown. Transportation was easy - we used both Ubers and the bus. Lots of AMAZING restaurants within walking district. We felt safe and the home was absolutely lovely. 10/10 would stay again.

This was a lovely home, very clean and host provided all the essentials for our stay. It was a bit different to find the unit so be sure to pay attention to the host’s directions. I had to call her back a few times because we got a bit lost. This was one of the most lovely and inviting places I have stayed at so far. It is very close to LSU if you are in town visiting students. The area is lovely!

We had an amazing experience at Mia's place!! We picked up our friend from CA at the airport and wanted to stop and provision before we got to the apartment and Mia was not only accommodating to our loose schedule but recommended a store that would be on our way and nearby! The apartment is really awesome - good kitchen and coffee making options, funky bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and fantastic shower, but the best part is the common space! There's a big dining table (great for games on a rainy day or lazy night), a very cool and cozy sitting area that has a stereo that should be turned to 90.7 for the full NOLA experience 😉 The tv area is also a great spot to enjoy morning coffee, watch tv, or sit and plan your day's adventures. Re: the tv area - if you find yourself wondering why your device isn't charging you should check that you aren't using a switched outlet... We had a wonderful time there and Mia is a great host, we are already looking forward to going back!!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the carriage house. It is private and quiet and beautiful. They have a dog named Olive that we loved right from the start. I would definitely stay again.

All around 10/10! It was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast and the charm and homely feeling of staying with a local family can’t be beat. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere but it was residential and close to local gems.

we absolutely loved our stay at Lynn and Matt's place. It's walking distance to the French quarter, restaurants and a grocery store. They supply a really wonderful Continental breakfast. The place is quiet and peaceful. We will be back.

This place was perfect for our short stay to visit family. Description was accurate, but photos didn't do justice to the overall atmosphere Jolie has created. We felt right at home the moment we stepped inside. It was very easy to find, within walking distance of cute riverside businesses, and short driving distance to many north shore locations. We look forward to returning when we stay again in the area!

Second (or third) time staying at The cressy house - as always, Laura doesn’t miss a detail! Can’t wait to go back.

We loved Laura’s B & B. Not only did we love their home, she and Elliott were fantastic hosts. We had a yummy Continental breakfast every morning waiting on us. She had the most fantastic croissants ever. They were such enjoyable people and I hope we have the opportunity to join them again. I highly highly recommend them if you plan on visiting that area. If and when I get to go back, I will definitely be staying with them.
