Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lake Päijänne

It was our best Airbnb experience. The house is very cozy, well-equipped with attention to detail, and exceptionally clean. The amenities available include a sauna, BBQ area, trampoline, fireplace, bicycles, boat, fishing rod, and various equipment for active games. The lake is amazing, and we even picked mushrooms and berries just a few steps from the house. The host is very friendly and ready to help at any time. The place is quiet and peaceful - an excellent choice, especially for families with kids. Highly recommend!

Kaunis talo rauhallisella alueella. Kaikki tarvittava löytyy keittiöstä ja muutenkin. Teemu vastasi viesteihin nopeasti ja auttoi kysymyksissämme.

Ihanan tilava ja valoisa omakotitalo, jonne oli hyvä majoittua isommallakin porukalla. Lapsemme löysi hyviä kirjoja luettavaksi. Saunoimme ja kävimme kävelemässä koirien kanssa läheisellä kauniilla harjulla, jossa oli paljon polkuja. Ravintolasuositukset oli myös hyvät 😀

We had such a wonderful time at Markus’s place with our family celebrating Midsummer. Peaceful, surrounded by nature and relaxing atmosphere! Such a beautiful house with everything you might need, for cooking etc, two balconies, fireplace and sauna in the house. In addition there was different sports equipment and boardgames, which was very fun. Short walking distance to the lovely lake and outside sauna. He responded quickly, was very helpful and accommodating for us. We would definitely come back and recommend to everyone. Thank you so much!!

Kaikki toimi hienosti ja asunto oli siisti. Vuokraaja vastasi kyselyihin nopeasti ja selkeästi. Pieni miinus pienestä ja vanhahkosta televisiosta, mutta tähtiä se ei vähennä.

This is such a special place - we spent five peaceful nights at the cabin enjoying outdoor cooking/meals, cozy rainy mornings, kayak paddles, wildlife, sauna and swimming. It is rustic luxury and we cannot recommend it enough. We thank the hosts for such an amazing experience and sharing their beautiful place.

This place was beautiful, serene. It had a big house at the top, than a lunch place with a bbq, than a small house with a sauna, than another small open house with a fireplace and a small dock at the end. There was also a little beach a little way around the road. We stayed with two family's, four adults and four children between 1 and 6 years old. For all of us it was a great place. All in all we had a wonderful time at Pertunmaa, we were however a little surprised at arrival that the house is part of a holiday home park. We didn't really mind, but we would have like to read that more clearly in the description. We didn't really hear or see other occupants. In the description it says five bedrooms, but what isn't clearly specified is that those are divided over two houses. It was fine now, but again: would've been better if it was included in the description.

Everything went great, besides missing a few linens. Location is very good!

Asikkalan paratiisi oli täydellinen ystäväperheidemme viikonlopunviettoon. Pihapiiri oli kaunis ja tekemistä riitti kaikille. Saunoimme, taaperomme ui paljussa, pulahdimme uimassa, kävimme kalassa, teimme pizzaa pizzauunissa, pelasimme krokettia ja ruokailimme terassilla. Olimme 6 pariskunnan porukka, mukanamme 2 taaperoa, 2 vauvaa ja 1 koira. Mahduimme hienosti ja kaikille riitti omaa tilaa myös ja soppia, joihin vetäytyä porukasta.

Tolle Gastgeber und eine tolle Unterkunft. Die Lage ist wunderschön. Direkt am Nationalpark gelegen kann man direkt vor der Haustüre wandern gehen. Der Steg zum See ist super zum Schwimmen. Auf der überdachten Terrasse sitzt man sehr gemütlich. Asmo und Hannele waren tolle Gastgeber die jederzeit erreichbar waren. Wir haben uns sehr zu Hause gefühlt.

The cottage is located beautifully! We had a nice plunge in the frozen lake after our sauna. The cottage is nicely decorated, with ample of space for a big family. Thanks for the stay!

We had a wonderful family holiday at this beautifully cabin. It was a perfect set up for my young 3 children, they loved playing in the lake and on the little beach, and were kept occupied with all the toys. Whole we enjoyed relaxing evenings in the most incredible lakeside sauna. The cabin is so well equipped, it had everything we could have ever needed. We loved smoking our own fish for lunch. Thank you Reijo and Marja, we do hope tonreturn.

This place is a gem! Perfect location, built by hand, amazing hosts and last but not least, the sauna was the best! Very helpful and friendly hosts, even booked us a taxi back to Jyvaskyla train station for our early departure. An easy 5 stars, would recommend to anyone. Sitting by the woodstove was the best way to end the day after hiking on the trails in the magical forest close to the BnB.

Majoitus todella sijaitsi metsän rauhassa, jonne varsinkin aamuisin saattoi kuulla lintujen ja metsäneläinten ääniä. Ensimmäisessä mökissä kaikki oli helposti saatavilla. Varsin tunnelmallinen ja kompakti majoitus. Saunassa sai erinomaiset löylyt. Kaikin puolin rentouttava ja ihana majoitus.

Perfectly cozy accommodation by the lake with beautiful scenery. The cabin is beautifully designed with quality furnishings, comfy rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a sauna featuring large panoramic windows overlooking the lake. The environment is exceptionally calm and quiet with no neighbors. Johan gave us the exact directions through the forest to the cabin, the nearest supermarket, and even gave us some helpful tips regarding the sauna, which we used almost every day.
