House vacation rentals in Lake Päijänne

Lovely small single-family house + atmospheric sauna cottage in the middle of the woods, by the small river. Everything in the house is neat, pretty, and clean. The kitchen is especially well-equipped, including new appliances. The car can be reached right in front of the house. The yard is large and tidy, the grassy areas are large. The best part about the stay is an atmospheric, wood-burning outdoor sauna, and a lot. At dusk, you can sit in a lot of privacy, watch the starry sky, and listen to the rapids.

Beautiful, cozy, and clean place. There was plenty of space and everything was working just fine. We enjoyed it!

It was a pleasure to stay at Erika's house, everything matched the listing description. We didn't get a chance to meet, but he was kind enough to communicate everything we needed in the messages. The house was in a quiet area and the yard was beautiful, too bad we didn't have time to enjoy it and the pool more. The house was also very clean.

Marcus and his wife have a beautiful place. It’s extremely peaceful and has all you need for a enjoyable time. The house is isolated on a private part, which gives you the changes to explore nature and look at the stars at night. All the facilities work and are very nice maintained. Overall this is a great recommendation for everyone that enjoys nature, walking and doesn’t mind driving/biking a little while to the local supermarket/restaurant

We enjoyed a week in Pasi's hut and it was so beautiful and peaceful. The hut seems to be used by Pasi himself and it shows in terms of quality of furniture, kitchen utensils etc. The whole hut is very well kept. Among the positive points were: * A nice couch with a very nice view * very comfortable beds * spacious inside and outside * calm and private location The hut has an automatic ventilation which means always fresh air, but there is always a little bit of mechanical noise in the background and the air was pretty dry. We enjoyed it very much and would like to visit again in the future.

The property could comfortably accommodate a group of nine adults. Spending time comfortably in the living areas within the framework of large couches, dining group, kitchen island, and downstairs spa section, and the property made it great for a larger group of people to share moments. There were some of the host's personal items in the kitchen and some of the food left there seemed to be spoiled. However, this didn't bother us, as our own groceries fit well in storage spaces and things like a cooler. All in all, a great accommodation option for a larger group.

Wow, what a beautiful location. And such a lovely house. There was a an original sauna on the lake which allowed us a true Finnish experience. Elina was the perfect host. She was always responsive and keen to ensure we had a great time. Anyone booking this place will not be disappointed. We will be returning- maybe when there is snow on the ground. We stayed at Tapani’s place for two nights on our road trip. The place was easy to get to and clean when we arrived. We never met the hosts, but the check-in was easy. The home is atmospheric and typical for the time period in Finland. Bedrooms are nicely located upstairs and everything else is downstairs, so sleepers are not disturbed. The neighborhood is quiet, as is the whole town, but we managed to buy basic groceries from the local store. The location is close to Jyväskylä for example, if you are looking for more things to do. Overall, our family of four enjoyed the stay and Tapani’s place had everything we needed for the stop-over.

Villa Virveli was just as great as the photos, if not more amazing! The house was wonderfully modern, stylish, peaceful, and even bigger than I had thought. The absolute crown of the house was a great sauna section and a hot tub that was lovely to take a dip in. The car was parked right in front of the door in the carport, and the location was perfect because it was a short trip to the city center and the highway. Transactions with Riga were friendly, quick, and clear☺️Everything was made really easy for the guest since check-in. I will definitely be here again!

It was a great stay. It's a great place to go with friends and enjoy the weekend. Jacuzzi + sauna + a walk on a nature trail were amazing combination. There is also a big garden so you can barbecue. The kitchen is well equipped - a lot of glasses and plates, all the needed kitchen appliances. The sound system connected to a projector is amazing. It's great to listen to music on it. The jacuzzi and sauna are the real highlight. Everybody enjoyed it a lot. It was a great birthday party, mainly thanks to the great place that Sakari has to offer.

We had a very relaxing stay at this house surrounded by nature. The accommodation was very well equipped and tidy. The location is ideal if you want to spend a quiet stay in Finnish nature, as there are no neighbors. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Fell in love with the wood-fired sauna located in an outbuilding of the house, which was very spacious.

Apartment was really nice, clean and perfect location for our needs. Kitchen was fully equipped. Host was really kind and responsive. We liked also the personal touch what host has made. Would recommend this place fully.

The stay met our needs brilliantly. Guests included two dogs who enjoyed the outdoors in the fenced-in yard. The youngest guest was a 5-month-old baby with a travel crib ready. There was also plenty of level space in the bathroom, and the changing of the mantle went smoothly. I'm sure we'll book a stay again if we're on the go with a larger group of people.

Tassia's estate is characterized by a natural complex between forest, creeks and large meadow. The distances between the main house, sauna and jetty may be a little further than usual. But you can enjoy a lot of space and openness. Jetty, rowing boat and sauna are in good condition and functional. There is no material for fishing, etc. However, we can confirm the rich fish in the lake. The house is well equipped. In the kitchen you will find the most important things (various pans, coffee flask machine, French press, etc.). A base of spices, oil and vinegar is not or hardly available. We enjoyed the stay very much and maybe it is due to the openness that the "mosquito infestation" has kept within very narrow limits. Apéro and breakfast on the dock were always possible. We wish Tassia all the best and many more enthusiastic guests!

A great ensemble for the company's strategy days. The large lounge and dining table, the deck staircase, and other spaces served us perfectly. A short trip from Motari.

We, seven adults, had a wonderful week at An’s house. She was very responsive and friendly, and the house is great. If we’re ever in Lahti again we’ll make sure to come back.
