Lake house vacation rentals in Lake of the Woods

Our stay was absolutely wonderful—perfect for a girls' weekend getaway! The fire pit and dock created such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. There were plenty of beds, extra blankets, and towels, which made the stay incredibly comfortable. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the floaties, pool noodles, and life vests at the dock house. The kitchen was impressively organized with every drawer and cabinet labeled, and it was fully stocked with all the spices we could possibly need—cooking meals was a breeze. Everything about this stay was a 10/10. Highly recommend!

Wonderful weekend stay right on the river. Easy access to the hazel river, Shenandoah national park, as well as some short trails right on the property. Spectacular views from every window and multiple decks. It’s easy to sit and read a book while listening to the peaceful sounds. This property is beautiful with everything you need to feel right at home. It felt more like a home than a rental property. It was well decorated and somewhere you actually want to spend time vs drop your stuff and head out. We enjoyed our stay, and plan to return.

The property is brilliantly located, right on the lake. The Dock House was a perfect place to hang out and read, fish, watch T.V. and socialize. We especially liked that the home had sleeping amenities on all three floors, and private bathrooms. The downstairs area provided a perfect space for the kids to play games, and bunk up in bunk bed room. Lastly, the appliances were top of the line, the stove, oven, washer/dryer etc..

We have stayed at a few places in Lake Anna and this one was perfect for our group of 8. The house is beautiful with a great set up for engaging family time and a well stocked kitchen. The backyard worked well with our Halo collar for our dog and the dog and boating options were perfect for our crew aged 8-68. The neighbors are friendly and there's plenty of shade and sun options to meet everyone's needs. We already booked our trip to come back next year!

We enjoyed our stay at Tracy's place! Came down to do a triathlon at Lake Anna. Very peaceful area and the house itself was very inviting and comfy. The main bed was a bit hard but that is more to do with my personal taste than anything. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was great! It had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. I would suggest packing water shoes for the little ones. We did not and left with a couple cuts but nothing serious.

Shiloh Lodge, which my friends and I have renamed, Chateau Shiloh, was everything we could have hope for and more. Sadly, it rained 3 of our 5 days but it didn’t matter. This home was so comfortable and welcoming and relaxing; we didn’t care we were rained in. There were puzzles and games and books and great streaming services to keep us occupied. However, we barely used those amenities. We spent those days cooking and talking and sitting in the rocking chairs looking out the sliding glass doors and watched and listened to the rain, watched the wild life and of course, looked out at the beautiful mountains and the river. If you need a place of peace of mind, body, and spirit renewal, Shiloh Lodge is the place. We thank you so much, Diana , for such a wonderful experience. Take care.

Had a great family getaway visiting Lake Anna and staying here. The house was comfortable and had all the amenities needed. The property was great; the family enjoyed playing tetherball and fishing off the dock. Great location and easy to dock your boat and jet skis at. We would definitely recommend to others and look forward to our next visit.

We stayed here with our Grandson and met up with friends at Christopher Run. This house was the perfect location for us. The house was clean and was everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with just about anything you would need. The AC worked great after spending our hot days on Lake Anna and it was especially nice to have a washer and dryer. Cathi was very pleasant and fast responding to any questions. We certainly made some core memories with our Grandson and look forward to visiting again. Becky

We had an amazing stay here! The location is perfect—right on the water with a fantastic private dock. The little "snack bar" on the dock was stocked with extra life vests and paddles. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. There was plenty of silverware and utensils for our whole group, which made cooking and dining together a breeze. A big bonus: the shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms—everyone in our group forgot theirs, so that was a total lifesaver. We also loved that the property overlooks the state park. It gave us beautiful, peaceful nature views and added a sense of privacy that made the whole trip feel like a true escape compared to other locations I've been to on this lake. My favorite part was taking the jet ski out every day. The nearby boat ramp is very private and super close, which made launching a breeze.

Very peaceful area, huge fenced in yard for kids, dogs or both, The house is well kept and very comfortable, right across from driveway is the entrance to the boat ramp, where there is picnic tables to sit and relax at the boat ramp and can fish from also . Great quite neighborhood with great wildlife and traffic is slow so easy to walk your dogs in the area. The host Kevin was responsive with any questions asked. We had a great time.

I had a big family gathering at my lake house, so we rented this to have extra sleeping space. We have no complaints. It was clean, nice neighborhood, and responsive host. We especially loved the separate private quarters (full apartment) adjacent to the main home where two guests stayed. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay at Lake Anna.

Great comfortable place. stayed here for one week. enjoyed walking down to the lake and the beach. Alexander was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Sharon's place was precisely how it appeared and was described... and then some. The attention to detail separates this Airbnb from most others. Sharon proactively shared everything with us ahead of time with thorough instructions. Her place was very clean and organized, equipped with everything we needed to grill and cook. The lake area, which is shared with others, was plenty large enough for our group of nine to swim and relax on the beach. The screened in porch was a really nice spot to socialize. This is a gem and it's definitely on our radar for future visits.

The house was great! We were able to fit two 19 foot bass boats in the driveway, and could have fit 4 easily. The ramp is in the same neighborhood less than 2 minutes away with ample parking. The house is clean, and back porch is wonderful. This will be our new spot for our yearly tournaments.

The house was great for our group! The boat dock and chairs were great down by the water! The inside very spacious. House was clean, the grill up on the deck has rusted out and isn’t useable luckily there is one down by the dock, just plan for that cooking wise and you’ll be good! While we were very excited about kayaking, one of them has a patched whole in the bottom and one of group members sank which was unexpected but luckily we just left with a funny memory. Overall, the house is in a great location and a good space for a group of 8-10 adults. We will definitely come back!

Second time staying but not the last time. Love waking up and heading out back with the dogs and enjoying early morning kayaking off the dock. Roomy and comfortable. Relaxing getaway

This is a beautiful, well-appointed home on a stunning piece of lakefront property. Our only regret is that we only stayed for a weekend. The outdoor spaces are beautiful. We had to choose between the spacious dock, the peaceful beach with a fire pit, the ground level patio with comfy furniture and fireplace or the second level decks with ample seating for our meals. Indoors was more of the same. The gourmet kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. We want to return when we have more time to enjoy this beautiful property.

Home was beautiful and had everything we needed. There were a few hiccups upon arrival but everything was easily taken care of. It was a great layout for our needs with plenty of room. The view of the lake was amazing. Will definitely stay here again.

Loved our family time here! House was spacious and had everything we needed from the pack n play and kayaks to an easy boat rental. Alisha was always super responsive and friendly and very easy to book with. We wish we could have stayed longer!

As a group of 12 ( adults + kids) the place was perfect for us. We absolutely enjoyed our time at this beautiful home especially the backyard views with the lake were very peaceful.
