Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Nicaragua

Maria and her team do know hospitality. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa de Campo, in Managua, Ticuantepe! The home was beautifully decorated, very neat and clean, (photos actually do not do justice). They made sure our stay was incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The highlight for everyone was the super delicious breakfast prepared by Yennie every morning. One was more delicious than the other, and the complementary Nacatamales from Maria was a real treat, thank you so much! Maria was incredibly helpful and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. The location was also fantastic, and beautiful offering beautiful views of the mountains and the pineapple plantations. Only caveat were the poor WIFI, so working remotely is basically not an option and the extra charge for the energy consumption even after we were gone all day and made sure all lights and ACs were off when we were not around. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable stay!

A+ book it don’t hesitate. A dream home in a dream location. We had such a wonderful stay at this jungle hideaway! The property is absolutely stunning—completely surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful nature. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle and the breathtaking views each morning was honestly magical. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It felt like the perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life. We had a great time relaxing, exploring, and just soaking in the beauty around me. Would definitely come back and already recommending it to friends.

Wonderful place, with a spectacular view! The statue of Christ is super close to Malibu and the host was also super helpful in recommending local restaurants with a 20% discount :) They’re super attentive when it comes to any inquiries or maintenance questions. However, I will say that there were a lot of bugs outside so I recommend bringing repellent. Its location is not that inclined like most places in San Juan, so that was another upside to it. Great location, great staff, great place ❤️

The place was good and everything made our stay very pleasant. The road to get there might be hard for smaller cars, but its manageable. Amelia was a great host, very responsive and the place was everything we expected.

Big Drop Surf House is ideally located a short walk to Playa Maderas. Well equipped and comfortable, staying here you will feel part of the Maderas community. Gaby is a very responsive and resourceful host. The local restaurants/beach bars are great, close, and have delicious food.

A magical place for a relaxing stay away from the bustle in town. Nearby Playa Majagual is incredible, great for swimming as the little bay is quite protected, and El Ranchito, the restaurant run by Luis and his family, is awesome. Owner is very responsive. One of my favourite Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at.

Jim’s place was beautiful, clean and private ! Great getaway ! Jim was very responsive and very attentive! 100 percent recommended.

All good, a very convenient location, super price ratio. Recommendation to make a couple of improvements: the bathroom doors did not close well, place a little more utensils as they are limited, otherwise very beautiful place to disconnect and fill you with energy.

We stayed at CasAnika for three weeks and had an amazing time! The house is spacious, clean, and cozy, with a beautiful terrace and a well-equipped kitchen. The Wi-Fi was great for remote work, and we loved the pool area and the friendly dogs and cats. Tony was a fantastic host, always helpful and full of great tips. The location is quiet, private and ideal, within walking distance to Maderas and Marsella beaches. We rented a scooter for trips to town but rarely needed to go as the area was so peaceful. Highly recommend!

Casa Cairo is an amazing place! The pool is definitely a plus! The apartment has everything you need and is charming! I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay in Granada! Marina, the manager, is extremely attentive and helpful! Nancy is also very helpful and considerate! The location is perfect! It’s a very peaceful place, just a few blocks away from many attractions and restaurants! Highly recommend!

The house is amazing! It is very clean, peaceful, private and has beautiful surroundings! The infinity pool is unbelievable with a breathtaking view! This is our second visit to the monkey house! Yubran the caretaker of the house is an excellent chef! He cooked our dinner two nights during our stay! Thank you for sharing your house we love it! ❤️

We loved staying at Antonio's beautiful home. Well stocked kitchen & living room, super comfy bedrooms & the AC worked great. Great location to wander & shop and loved the dipping pool to cool off at the end of the day. The layout was great because the bedrooms were in the back away from traffic and the kitchen area is separated at the front so you can be noisy in the morning if everyone else is still sleeping!

If there was an award for AirBNB's top host globally, Maria would win easily. Hands down the best host I have evern encountered, so friendly and willing to help with anything and everything we needed. Had a wonderful stay with my family, beautiful place, amazing location and million dollar views. Could not recommend highly enough.

Simply the best Airbnb in Granada. My stay was amazing, everything was as shown in the photos (or even better!). The house is perfectly equipped, very clean, comfortable and cozy; I really felt at home. The rooms are spacious, with air conditioning, and the overall atmosphere is very quiet and safe. The location is ideal: in a quiet area but steps from downtown, with supermarkets, restaurants, spa and La Calzada very close by. The pool is beautiful, well maintained and was cleaned twice during my stay. In addition, the cleaning lady was very kind. The host was excellent, she always responded super fast and very kindly. Everything was perfect, I have no complaints. I would definitely come back and recommend it 100%. I loved everything!

Super charming house in a quiet, safe part of town, only a two-minute (or less) walk to the center of town. We LOVED the colonial feel of the house and the plunge pool for that hot afternoon heat...chef's kiss. Ashley provided us with everything we could possibly need: AC, hot water, soap/shampoo (bc I definitely forgot to pack it), speedy Wifi, a fully functional kitchen, comfy bed...the list goes on and on. Julio was also amazing and very accommodating to our schedule. We loved this little gem in Granada so much we actually wanted to book another weekend...but it was already booked (boo!). Writing the standard paragraph or two about my month-long stay would be an insult to my experience at Nel's place. In fact, can write a book filled with praise for this place... I've been in Nicaragua for over three years, and this was by far my fave Airbnb, and definitely in my top 5 globally. During my five years in Nicaragua, I saw the national bird a handful of times. On Nel's farm, I stopped counting. For instance, on one hiking excursion to the lake, I counted eleven and saw three tucans. If you're a nature lover, then this is your spot. The best of all is due to the elevation, it's not as hellish hot as certain places in Nica. Even if does get warm, there's always a nice spacious pool to go and cool off in. My home was equipped with everything, and the internet was great for working from home. Nel is an exceptional host and a lovely person to be around with. Her communication is great, and she really cares about your happiness while hosting you on her beautiful property
