Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Lake Nicaragua

Juan and Elena also operate a breakfast and lunch eatery onsite which is very popular. They were very welcoming as was Chilo whose attentive service as a cook and maid is a plus! The courtyard is a lovely place to enjoy breakfast, lovingly prepared and often sharing in conversation with guests, Elena and Juan. The location is the best, right near the Cathedral, Central Park and a multitude of great restaurants, a pharmacy and a corner store. Thank you for making me feel like a part if the family Juan, Elena and Chilo.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cynthia’s, the location is less than a 5 minute scooter ride from town and great restaurants. We loved being able to rent the scooters right there, they made our exploring easy. Everyone there was helpful and kind. The pool is fantastic and they have a few games to play in the patio sitting area. Highly recommend staying at Cynthia’s!

Beautiful accommodation directly on the lagoon. The food was very good and can be highly recommended. Communication was also excellent. When we needed a taxi on the last day, it was taken care of immediately.

Beautiful place to stay and relax for a few days. The lake is stunning and you can take kayaks out at no extra cost. We enjoyed having breakfast with other guests and playing with the very friendly dogs that are around! Donaldo was very helpful and was always there to help with any questions. Only thing to watch out for with staying on the lake is that restaurants can close quite early in the evening (especially on Sunday), so make sure you don't accidently end up without dinner!

Worth the price for a stay with AC. Cynthia gave clear instructions and answered quickly when we booked her place last minute. The place is close enough to walk to town.

Much more beautiful than expected.. wonderful athmosphere in an incredible house with lovely people working there, beautiful rooms and bathrooms with flowers! We will definitely come back to this perfect place! Thank you very much!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tatiana's place and can only recommend the accommodation. The room was spacious and cozy, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Tatiana was a helpful host, and communication with her was consistently positive. It was also great that we could easily rent a scooter through them. But we liked the terrace with the view over the surrounding banana plantations and the two volcanoes of the island best!

Great environment for lounging and relaxing, breakfast was good, overall felt good. But there are two things to improve: 1. The refrigerator in the room was very noisy when it was running 2. The location is not very convenient for backpackers, only suitable for self-driving, or suggesting that the hotel has a private motorcycle to receive tourists, it is close to the coast, but the slope is too big and extremely inconvenient.

Michael's place was perfect for myself and my family. The house was absolutely gorgoeous, and the view was incredible! Michael was extremely friendly and helpful, providing many helpful local recommdations for activities and transportation. Highly recommend Michael's place if you are visiting San Juan area.

Can’t say enough good things about the hospitality of Mary Jane and her partner. I stayed for two weeks and they made me feel like family! The breakfasts were delicious, the pool was beautiful and the whole space was serene. Great energy, super walkable location, and gorgeous surroundings - highly recommend!

This a hideaway its a must visit highly recommend this property very peaceful and room a very spacious!!!! 10/10

One of the cleanest places we’ve stayed at on the island. Noise from dogs and the church were to be expected and are mostly unavoidable on Ometepe. The patio and hammocks make it a relaxing stay also. Very very conveniently located to stores and restaurants and the port.

Great place to stay. The host was very friendly and helped us with all of our travel questions and needs! Breakfast was exactly what we needed for a day of exploring the beautiful island of Ometepe!

This place was amazing! The staff was on point, the food was some of the best I had my entire trip in Nicaragua, the drinks were tasty, and the room was super cute. We were greeted with monkeys, beautiful views of the Laguna, and an incredible ambiance. Casa Marimba was decorated so thoughtfully and it looks like a storybook every single day that we woke up. I never wanted to leave and the photos do not do this place justice. I would come back here time and time again, and look forward to visiting again sometime in the future. Well done! Highly recommend. The staff were also noteworthy, friendly, and very accommodating. 5 Stars!

Martina is an exceptional host. attentive to her customers. receptive to communications. Had difficulties with taxis she immediately directed towards the buses . She knows are grenada. taxes, tuctucs, buses. she welcomes her home with wide open arms. ns brings to her ptite grocery store near her home. she is attentive to our needs, as I had never lived. my experience at home is even better than I would have imagined. in my eyes, she is no longer a host, but a friend. her countryside with her horse, her pig, her chickens, roosters , ducks and her dogs, have been a magical experience of my visit

Perfect place to relax and be around amazing people and nature!! Gaby + Dani están súper felices de compartir y recomendar joyas de la zona!! Great spot to relax and rest in a clean room and bathroom with artesanal soap. Gaby and Dany are really nice hosts. Best moment was meeting their visiting parrot 🦜. So close to one of my favorite beaches!

Been to San Juan Del Sur four times now and this place was THEE place to stay! Hosts were amazing! The view is unreal! Breakfast every morning at 7 sharp! Hot water! Pool was perfect on a hot day! No noise from downtown! I could go on and on! YOU NEED TO STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!
