House vacation rentals in Lake Lure

Beautiful spot. Matthew is a gentleman host who made us feel at home. Bungalow had an Aspen ski vibe which added a flair to the snowfall. The hot tub was warm and roomy, so says this zoftig lady. The snow views were gorgeous. Definitely would stay again.

Comfortable rental in a great location. We enjoyed all the amenities, and the easy access to downtown Black Mountain and Asheville. Easy walk down to the tavern and Japanese restaurant in the village of Cheshire (which we did 2 nights of our stay). A few additions such as tall planter on the side porch to provide a bit more privacy from the adjacent over flow parking, bedside lighting for the downstairs bedrooms, floor lamp in the living room, and shades for the back deck French door would really elevate the comfort of even more! Enjoyable 5 night stay; we would stay there there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Heather and Bob's little house. We loved the layout and that it was private. The little extras were much appreciated - muffins for breakfast, chocolates on the night stands, etc. Heather and Bob made their place very inviting. Communications were great and they even provided easier directions than the GPS provides to reach the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Bruce's house was clean, well taken care of, and exactly as described. Very detailed instructions, along with local recommendations, were laid out in a manual on the dining room table. The area was private and peaceful, and a short drive away from Asheville.

Perfect couple getaway private peaceful place with perfect views. My husbands favorite amenity is the double shower :) kitchen was equipped for home cooking and the hot spring tub was so relaxing. Explored Asheville downtown. Visited waterfalls north to south and local brewery 8min away. The airport was also just 15min drive. Host was very helpful and communicated very efficiently. We will miss waking up to this place for sure. Thank you for having us Adria.

This was an excellent choice for our extended family. My parents, myself, and each of my kids had their own private bedrooms. In addition, there were two bathrooms upstairs plus a half-bath downstairs. We enjoyed lots of areas to sit and visit with family. The dining table was big enough to accommodate us all and we even had enough room to play several card games. The kitchen had a nice big refrigerator/freezer and was well stocked with anything we needed. The Keurig got lots of use since we are all big coffee drinkers. I liked that we didn't have to bring any linens/towels. In addition, having a washer and dryer on site made it easy to have plenty of clean towels to use. The hot tub outside was an added perk!

couldn't have asked for a better location. Walking distance to lots and lots of restaurants and breweries. Joe's instructions were clear and the home was clean and very comfortable. thank you so much for the wonderful accommodations!

This was our fifth year staying at Elevacres. We have so enjoyed each visit. Kevin was, again, a great host. Thank you for everything. We will miss your home as our AVL rental, but can’t argue with you wanting that daily view back. Cheers!

A wonderful home stocked with all the essentials to make a pleasant stay! Amanda is a great communicator and fabulous host. Pool, hot tub, and ping pong table are amenities packed in an efficient and spacious home. I was thrilled with the kitchen setup, and my family loved having two separate living room spaces. The porch is very nice, and overlooks both the pool and hot tub. Linens are clean. Decorations are minimal and homey. Plenty of space for a family or group to come together. Neighborhood is great and less than 5 minutes to Tanger Outlets, restaurants, grocery and Blue Ridge Parkway. Everything else is an easy 15-20 minutes away, from Biltmore to Downtown Asheville, everything feels like it is at your fingertips. What a great stay, we look forward to coming back when the pool is open!

Had a wonderful time here for a peaceful getaway with friends. The home was beautiful and cozy. Loved the hot tub and staring at the stars at night.

We rented this house for the week of Christmas. It was the perfect space for us to spend time together. The view of the lake was great! The house was as described and met all of our needs from the bedding and towels to the kitchen cooking accessories. Would love to rent this in the summer to enjoy more of the outdoor space.

The house has great space for multiple families or couples. We were very comfortable and highly recommend!

It was cloudy and rainy most of our stay but it didn't matter. The house is so big and very comfortable. The indoor pool was wonderful. (They are very strict about kids not being allowed in the hot tub though.) We were able to use all of the outdoor amenities, too. The house is charming! The kitchen was well stocked. The kids loved the room with the bunk beds and being able to play with the balls on the pool table. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great stay at Jon’s house. It was very clean and we loved the fenced in back yard. Our bed was cozy too! Close to Black Mountain where we had a great dinner!

Tonya’s place had everything we could have needed. The bed was comfy, the layout spacious —we felt right at home. The backyard was very peaceful and beautiful as well. I would definitely book again.

Mollys place was the absolute perfect location! Close to downtown Asheville, Biltmore Village and Biltmore. Her place is very well appointed with everything you will need! It is probably the cleanest and neatest property I have stayed in awhile! Great hostess!

This place was simple and amazing! Such a gorgeous view - we wanted to sit outside in the rocking chairs all days. Perfect place for a small reunion with children. We would definitely rent again - hosts were super responsive.

Our stay at Franklyn's Airbnb was simply outstanding. During a difficult time for the City of Asheville (damages due to hurricane Helene in September 2024), he pre-empted our needs during the power failure by ensuring we were comfortable. The house is thoughtfully and generously supplied with toiletries, snacks, and other conveniences. Franklyn is naturally a super host who goes above and beyond for his guests. All my friends took his contact information and plan to promote and stay at his place when next they are in town. Thank you, Franklyn. You were a God send. See you next time we are in Asheville.
