We had the most wonderful stay at Emma & Brett’s beautiful cabin — yet again! This was our second visit, and we loved it so much the first time that we brought our parents along this time, who fell in love with the place as well. From the serene location to the cozy ambiance, everything was just perfect for unwinding and escaping the hustle and bustle of Toronto. It’s a hidden gem — peaceful and secluded, yet still close enough to the city to feel like the perfect weekend getaway. Emma is an exceptional host, always making sure we’re comfortable and have everything we need. We truly appreciated her attention to detail and her warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back again! Thank you for another amazing stay!

My bestie & I celebrated our 40th Friend Anniversary and it was perfect. We had a bonfire, which was set up by Yvonne’s son, roasted marshmallows and had a really peaceful night. In the morning we spent time feeding the Alpacas, took a walk with them and looked at the little shop. It was a wonderful stay and we will be back.

Awesome place for our friend group to get together (families with kids ages 3-11) Tons of cooking spices, bowls, plates, mugs. Sauna is a nice touch and so is the fire pit. Large property for the kids to run around. I wasn't sure about the single beds but they were very comfortable. Nice bathroom/shower set up. Perfect for a large group. Would go back!

Would highly recommend! A very spacious spot with lots of activities and lovely surroundings. The place is very cozy with the wood burning stove and plethora of candles. Annette was very pleasant, responsive and accommodating! We had a great time playing with her dogs in the snow. We will be back!

What a gorgeous place to get away from the city for a few days. The comfortable studio has everything you'd need during your stay. The fields are great for walking (especially if you have a dog), and there are all kinds of magnificent hiking trails nearby. My arrival coincided with a massive ice storm and Vince and Miranda were in touch every step of the way, keeping me updated on conditions and options. They were a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to returning next time I need a taste of the country.

This was a surprise getaway for my boyfriend’s birthday. This gem is like a slice of heaven providing all the peace a person could want and need. Rachel was so accommodating and quick to respond to all messages. I inquired about birthday decorations and Rachel set up a really cute display including cake, balloons, banner and gift basket with snacks. The property is amazing, beautiful and peaceful. Did I say peaceful again, it’s just that! Although there’s a tv, you forget it’s there. The open windows overlooking the trees and lake was all you needed for relaxation and entertainment. This place is set up where you feel like there’s no other cabins around you. The hottub with the view was brilliant. Coffee in the morning at the bistro set on the deck is a must. I could go on and on but it’s something you need to experience yourself. We are already looking forward to returning. You are cheating yourself if you don’t book with Rachel, her place is the best, you can’t go wrong💚

Stayed for a weekend while doing some work locally. Easy check-in process. Place was as advertised. Very clean & cute. Kitchen is very well-equipped with all necessary utensils/items. Would for sure stay here again!!

I love the Farm Shed...it feels like you have rented a wee home of your own and it's nestled in a serene farm setting...quiet, contemplative and cozy. The friendliest cat was a bonus.

Our stay at the Schoolhouse was perfect! Ingrid is an incredible Airbnb host. She's invested and proactive in making your stay both comfortable and enjoyable. The Schoolhouse is immaculate and well-designed, but Ingrid also pays close attention to smaller details that enhance your stay. We loved the freshly baked bread, farm-fresh eggs, and chopped wood (for the outdoor firepit). She also provided us with endless recommendations for local restaurants and hiking trails, all within short driving distance. If you're looking for a cozy and intimate little getaway, we highly recommend it! Inside the Airbnb, you'll find loads of blankets, Netflix, a fully functional kitchen, board games, and an electric fireplace. Outside, it's located on a fully functional farm, where you can enjoy a cozy firepit and make friends with some adorable farm animals. Everything about our stay was smooth and seamless too. A wonderful country side home. Live like a local. Great sunset views and peaceful nights. Home is comfortable after a busy day on the go.

Host was very accomodating with a short notice booking. Easy in and out. Peaceful dark sky. I hesitated because of other reviews about the cats on the property. They are not a problem in or out of the space. Will return.

everything was beyond expectations. fireplace was lit prior to arrival. kitchen had all the basics (salt,pepper, olive oil, coffee filters w/coffee maker & French press!, copper pots, ceramic pan, nice knives and cutting boards!)...I am already planning my next vacation days off to spend here

This was our second time staying in Emily's cabin, and certainly not the last! The place was quiet, private, and with a rustic charm that was perfect for a group of admittedly very nerdy adults looking for a place to spend a weekend playing medieval fantasy tabletop roleplaying games. The place was quaint, clean, well stocked with supplies, very spacious, and Emily was very responsive if we needed anything. Though, as repeat customers, we needed very little. Thanks Emily, and with any luck, we'll be back soon.

Susan and Peter's place is definitely a place we would love to return to once we'll come again to Harbor Springs area. It felt nice, comfortable, home like, and we felt very welcomed. The view, that surrounds the house is just beautiful .

With my almost monthly stays, Mike and Alice continue to be the epitome of hosts. Absolutely, love staying with them. You can't ask for more responsive, accommodating and friendly hosts. I can't wait to see Alice's flowers start blooming. If you're looking for a place to relax and unwind, yet, be close to plenty of things to do, don't hesitate to stay with them.

Great host and location for a quick family stay. We really enjoyed the sheep and our interactions with bandit. House was great for us.

Never doubt how much the little things matter. We walked in to a tidy space. There was a personalized note left for us on the table, along with a laminated page of information for our stay and the delicious sample treats from the blyth sweets shop which I had to visit. Hot Tub instructions were left on the kitchen counter. Want pillows? There are pillows for your pillows here! Beds were comfy, bathrooms had soap and shampoo, opened all the kitchen and laundry room cupboards and found everything we needed easily enough. Everything was organized, the personal touch of the note was welcoming, there's a tim hortons just down the road if you need your caffeine fix, it was everything we needed for our cozy weekend. 10/10 would return again!

We enjoyed our stay at the yellow house, easy check-in and better than the pictures. The rooms are large, the kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed, and it has a nice patio in the back to relax in the evenings. Bobbi was very responsive with any questions or suggestions for us ( farmers market, parks, etc) . The animals are gentle, and we enjoyed watching them. My niece stopped over with her two sons and it was their first time being up close and touching farm animals. They loved it! We stayed a month. We went to visit family and Friends, and they all wanted to come over and see our. “ farm”.
