Bungalow vacation rentals in Lake Huron

Mark and Lisa are great people with a beautiful rustic cottage. felt very cozy as soon as you walked in if you are looking for a little piece of heaven this is the place to be. Would definitely recommend and we will go back next year. Michele

This spot is so beautiful! The bungalow was comfortable for my family. My adult son was able to sleep on the couch no problem - it converted to a bed. Every supply we needed was there and there is lots of closet and drawer space for long stays. We loved the view of the water and the outdoor spaces are thoughtful and well done. Two seating areas by the bungalow and also a fire pit and dock by the water. We are already planning to come back next year.

We had a fabulous stay at Lorry’s beachfront cottage. The views are phenomenal, and what makes this place so special. The place was extremely clean and new. Our toddler loved playing in the sand right outside the cottage, and we frequently walked to the sandbar to the left of the cottage where there was a perfect spot for him to splash in the shallow water. There are lots of great little ice cream places and food trucks near by. The cottage was VERY well stocked with everything you may need, and even a wonderful tea selection. Great new BBQ and appliances. Truly, a little slice of heaven.

It was comfy, clean, kitchen & bathroom were fully stocked. Kelly made sure everything was perfect! Even left s’mores stuff. We’ve stayed a lot of places on Lake Huron between AuGres & Harrisville and thought we would try a different part this year. The kids loved all the big water toys, so that was what drew us. We missed 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, and seeing the kids on the beach. The house sat up high and you had to walk to the edge to see shoreline or take the stairs. We were glad we did a shorter stay because there wasn’t a whole lot to do after the museums and lighthouse in Port Huron. But Kelly had corn hole and lots of comfy outdoor chairs for reading. All in all it was a great place / super clean, didn’t care for all 3 outdoor cameras. We understood the one that looked out to the driveway/fire pit/main entrance. But one we could see from inside on the couch and also from the small table area / that whole side is doors & glass windows with no shades.

Very clean & welcoming Airbnb! I loved the lake access…the entire stay was super relaxing. All the towns/activities were a close drive which is also a plus!

Cottage is adorable, loved the loft and front porch. The pool was lovely and warm with a delightful pool deck with loungers and backlit lighting features. The beach is beautiful, enjoyed our walks, and our pup got in a great swim! Jeff was attentive and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

Terri and Theo are top-notch hosts—super friendly, responsive, and accommodating. The cottage is beautifully designed with thoughtful details throughout. Great layout, stylish decor, spotless, and fully stocked with everything you might need. The outdoor space is stunning! We had our own private area with a dining table, BBQ, lounge seating, and a gas fire pit. We were also welcome to use the rest of the patio, which included more seating and loungers—all incredibly clean and well-kept. It really is like a little resort! The pool is gorgeous and just steps from the back door. Prefer the beach? Just a few steps past the yard and your toes are in the sand! It’s so private and peaceful, you’d never guess you are only minutes from anything you could possibly need! Many thanks to Terri and Theo for the chance to experience this little slice of paradise—truly a gem!

Magnificent were these accommodations! Lots of unique personality went into the presentation of this exclusive escape! The huge window in the main suite was the main attraction during a massive lightning show over the bay!! 🤩 I will absolutely book here again with friends to really enjoy a vacation, as this spot is meant for. It was still more than perfect for this trip working at the airport 2 minutes down the road 🙌🏾 Hot tub - Awesome Shower - wicked awesome Bbq area - great for great big steaks next visit! Laundry - super advanced machine , took me a minute to figure out. Coffee all stocked up was clutch! Kitchen resources were unlimited !! Like wow! Bumper sticker : In Toronto, you couldn’t afford it, in wiarton you will seriously enjoy it!

We had a wonderful stay at Carol Ann’s. The space was perfect, and an easy walk to downtown. We loved the outdoor area of the yard where we could relax, and the indoor space was very comfortable and well appointed. We will definitely return if we’re back in the area, and recommend it to others!

Great place to stay. Very close to all local amenities... served us well for our stay. Will be booking again in the summer months, to enjoy the space in the nice weather

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Jim was incredibly friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. The home itself is stunning — a beautiful open-concept layout with soaring high ceilings and plenty of natural light. The beds were extremely comfortable, and there were lots of extra towels available, which was such a thoughtful touch. The fully stocked chef’s kitchen made cooking a breeze — everything we could possibly need was on hand. This property is in a great location, very close to Blue Mountain Village and all its surrounding restaurants and attractions. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the bed was comfortable. The cottage was super clean. Jodi was very responsive and helpful! It does get a bit chilly at night on the cooler nights, so definitely bring some warm jammies for those evenings. It was so cozy and comfortable! It is a great rate and very close (within a 30-50 minute drive) to some beautiful caves and waterfalls.

Basically just slept there however, the house is very well furnished, spotless clean, landscaping around house is absolutely gorgeous , bed was more comfortable than my own bed. Excellent experience would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at David's place. It was perfect for our family weekend get-together. There was lots of space for our whole family. The location gave us easy access to the beach and other local amenities. The house was very clean and matched the description. David was pleasant to deal with and communicated well with us. We wouldn't hesitate to book it again.
