Lake side house rentals in Lake Helen

This home is great for a family. We felt like we were at home instantly. Everything you need is there. It was also spacious, clean, comfortable, and cozy. We loved it!

This was our 2nd stay and it was, again, clean and spacious and perfectly located for our time with family. It is convenient to grocery stores and restaurants and our kids loved the pool. We enjoyed sunrises over the lake from the swings by the camp store and also played horse shoes one afternoon. The beds are comfortable, the shower has great water pressure, and the kitchen is serviceable. We also used the gas grill and Florida room.

Julie was an amazing host! She was very communicative and friendly, and the home is truly right by lots of different Springs. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a beautiful weekend stay with trips to Silver Springs and lakes. Loved visiting J Birds Camp, just a paddle or walk away from the house, with a weekend of reggae music and delicious food trucks. Only downside of this stay is the furniture is not comfortable enough for a week long stay which is something I’d love in the future. Loved the Florida Cracker house and very well furnished with kayaks, canoes, etc.

This was our second time staying at The Acorn. The house was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed...toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, coffee and tea supplies...so pleased that we didn't need to run to the store to get any of these items! Dan and Michelle are very quick to respond if we ever need anything. Had some issues with the internet and it was taken care of in a very timely manner. We love relaxing in the back yard and enjoying all of the wild life. The alligators won't bother you if you don't bother them! I absolutely recommend Dan and Michelle's beautifully decorated home to anyone who would like a relaxing, clean, and comfortable place to spend their vacation!

My husband and I took our 14 year old grandson on a mini vacation to fish. We were accompanied with my elderly parents. This place is absolutely wonderful. We spend so much time outside on the covered dock. Even in the evenings, my husband and grandson would fish until after 11:00 PM as there are lights on the dock. We caught some really big fish too. The house was also very comfortable with everything you need included in the kitchen. We brought food with us with the intentions of eating dinner out each evening. We were having so much fun that we decided to stay in (and not dine out with the exception of one evening.) This place is good for ALL ages. Thank you Dori and John for your rapid response anytime we had questions (before and after we checked in!!) We highly recommend this place.

This property is peaceful and on a corner lot to provide the most privacy in the neighborhood. There was plenty of wildlife. Access to the river and Springs was easy, close, and inside a beautiful and private park. The house is spotless and updated. The hosts are wonderful. We can't wait to go back!

Great place to stay and relax, the dock is well maintained with good fishing less than 30 seconds from the front door. House was clean both bedrooms had comfortable mattresses. The host was very responsive and friendly. Neighborhood is well maintained friendly neighbors. Would stay here again

We stayed here with 10 women on a lady retreat it was perfect - all the amenities you could need and more with the kayaks and St John’s River and many springs nearby. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent. An amazing host. Gorgeous surroundings . Nice lake. Excellent personnel. Incredibly kind. Authentic. Sid the baby goat. Oh my word....adorable. Sweet horses. You just can not explain the fun we had. A suggestion Detailed instructions for the hot water tank, refrigerator, generator, and where to find activities. We received wonderful text message with all details. Yet if your phone doesn't work you need to ask staff. You hate to disturb them.

Fred’s place is very nice and comfortable. We hated to have to leave. We actually got to meet him as he was across the street helping one of his neighbors. A genuine gentleman!

The stay at Bryan's property was perfect. The house is lovely, clean, and perfectly decorated for a pleasant and peaceful stay. Bryan was very responsive to our every need. It is the perfect getaway home to relax and enjoy. I would highly recommend both this house and the Host.

I think our 4th or 5th stay at this location. We'll return. It's one of our Happy Places!!!

I needed a place for my son to stay that was safe and clean. He fell in love with the home and asked me to let him move there. Great place and will add to my favorites for future trips.

Beautiful home on the lake. Sunrise was spectacular. Short drive to Mt. Dora. Seaplane rides at nearby park.

Wonderful stay for my birthday. the girls surprised me with this air bnb and it was wonderful. from the privacy to the cleanliness I loved it and hope to book with you again in the near VERY NEAR FUTURE

This was the perfect place for us to use has home base while doing a series of day trips. Restaurants and grocery stores were just minutes away. Loved how quiet the neighborhood was, and especially enjoyed waking over to a nearby park with a great playground and open spaces for frisbee and running around. Beds were so comfortable, and there was a variety of pillows to choose from.

We stayed for 7 days at this lovely townhouse and had a fantastic time. The location was ideal—just a short drive from Disney and other major attractions. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, which was great for relaxing after busy days out. The townhouse was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and having a washer and dryer was super convenient. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the air conditioning kept the whole place cool and comfortable. The kids especially loved the community pool.

The home was beautiful. It was clean and very well equipped with all your basic needs & essentials. It was a central location close to shopping area and theme parks Adanel was very responsive to any of my questions and needs during my stay.

We had a perfect vacation! We can’t wait to book again! Everything was just as described and the location was perfect for us!

This beautiful home worked well for our family…4 couples and 3 small children. Pool and hot tub were great and clean! The house was large and we had a ton of fun! The host was super responsive every time we sent a message. We would definitely come back to this house and would highly recommend it!
