Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Diefenbaker

My husband and I came here for our vacation. Day to day we deal with busy city lives. This place was just what we needed for our getaway. Private, quiet, peaceful, quaint, relaxing. Great amenities, it was perfect!

We weren’t sure what to expect but we were both excited to stay in a repurposed grain bin and explore the area. We were overwhelmed by the beautiful touches in this extremely comfortable boho-chic re-purposed grain bin. My favourites included the delicious breakfast delivered to our door each morning, the linens on the bed (so wonderful), and all of the little decor touches throughout! We took lots of pictures and will be sure to recommend Alive Sky Lodge & bins to others! Thank you for your gracious hospitality!!

Alison is a friendly and responsive host. We were able to be together as family because the cottage is so close to a family farm. We appreciated the full kitchen and could cook as we would at home for our kids. The boys really enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you!

It was the perfect get away for our girl’s weekend! The hosts were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our trip fun and memorable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Highland Lodge. We were there with our 3 kids. They loved the play structure, sandbox and games. Joanne and Cory were super friendly and helpful. The cabin was spacious enough for our family of 5 and had all the amenities we needed and more!

Alison is a friendly and responsive host. We were able to be together as family because the cottage is so close to a family farm. We appreciated the full kitchen and could cook as we would at home for our kids. The boys really enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you!

Alison may want to replace the hinge on the side screen door. The arm is bent.

Wonderfully cozy cabin set back in a coulee that is great for an escape and some rest & relaxation time. Serena was an excellent host—her instructions to find the cabin were very clear and we had no trouble finding our way even though our check in was well after dark.

What a little gem!! Cozy cabin in an idyllic spot with a coveted view of the lake from the back deck and a very short walk to stunning sandy beaches. Very comfortable accommodations and a helpful and responsive host. I can't wait to get back there next year!! Thank you, Lesley! My friend and I had a wonderful weekend!

Danes place is great and located near a nice beach, it would be great in summer time and the house is well suited for your needs. Same is a great host.
