Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lake Corpus Christi

This place was fantastic. quiet and peaceful, and not a ton of road traffic. The house was well kept and had all the furnishings for cooking, enjoying the bay, or simply hanging in the garage with friends having some drinks. Very kid and pet friendly (we didn't bring our dogs but after seeing the well fenced property and pet friendly set up we regretted not bringing them.) The family that owns it has all the things you need to enjoy your stay which is very kind of them to share. Our 2 boys loved the ping pong, darts and shuffle board. Hopefully people respect the items and property in years to come as this is an amazing amenity for them to share. Overall, the property is great, well kept and we would absolutely stay again!

Second time booking Heron hideaway; Family enjoyed our trip there last time. Couldn’t ask for a better host. Daina was always available when we had questions. If you want to disconnect this is the place to go, peaceful and relaxing. Big yard for your fur-babies to run around.

We really enjoyed our stay at Angela’s. When we were at the house my grand kids really enjoyed playing in the huge back yard and watching the horses that were stalled at the back of the property.

This was a fantastic stay for our son, his wife, us AND our beagle babies. Everything was neat, clean and very comfortable. I recently had knee replacement surgery and having an open floor plan with no steps to deal with was very important. Our puppies tell us it was the best place we have ever stayed and they loved chasing the birds and cats that scrambled in and out of the well-fenced yard. Thank you for having a beautiful, clean welcoming home away from home. We hope to stay with you again. Warm regards.

The place is in a great location, quiet neighborhood, restaurants and mall nearby. The house was spotless inside. Cozy beds and great showers made our stay comfortable. We’re saving this for future stays!

Wow! This condo is amazing! The view is spectacular and the interior absolutely beautiful! They thought of every little detail down to a wonderful welcome gift of beach necessities. Checkin and out was super simple and the facilities at the complex were great! Hoping to return to this wonderful place again!

This was our second stay at this property. The rooftop hot tub is probably our favorite amenity but the entire space is perfect for my family. The owner leaves clear instructions for everything and very responsive touching base almost immediately after booking. We definitely look forward to future stays at this property.

We had a wonderful stay! Dave had lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The home is older but very comfortable, we slept great every night and never once worried about our safety. As stated in other reviews the patio door does not lock, but there is a removable bar that holds the door shut and is probably stronger than the original lock.

The place was a great way to relax, nice and quiet, the scenery was amazing. Great place to get away and recharge. Tyler was great, I recommend staying there even if it’s for one nigh.

It was a quiet and peaceful stay. The kids loved being able to run around and enjoyed being in the country. It’s a very convenient place to stay being close to the beach or just staying out in the sticks. I definitely recommend and will want to come back during the spring or fall. The furniture was very comfy and lots of bed space for my wife kids.

We were in town for a super large Christmas family weekend gathering (between Beeville and Skidmore), and really wanted to find our own nearby private place to stay. This was it! We are so glad you have opened your cabin for others to enjoy. Such a Blessing. See you next Christmas!

It was a really beautiful place to relax with my family, they had fun being close to the water. We would love to re-book again and next time I’ll bring fishing poles for all the fishing we saw jumping on the river. Thanks also to the host for the small gifts and the recommendation of restaurants in the area. Plus the fact that she was efficient in responding to any questions I had. Highly recommended area if you want to just be at peace and relax.

Amazing little house in such a cute little rental neighborhood! Super friendly neighbors and the porch area is EXACTLY as pictured!! Quiet and away from the hustle and bustle but still within short distance from grocery stores and quick stop restaurants! Jenny is super sweet and very informative and always ready to answer and questions! Cannot wait to return for next family trip!!
