Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Lake Biwa

We loved staying here during our 8 night in Tokyo. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Hosts were easy to speak to and provided us with great information for checking in/out. We had no issues at all and would recommend this accommodation.

great location, super quiet. could use more heating in the winter (bathroom & shower cold), but would totally stay again!

Casa davvero molto bella, con spazi anche piuttosto ampi rispetto allo standard, ideale per 5-6 persone. Cucina dotata di tutto il necessario, molto bello anche il servizio di piatti. Due bagni belli e funzionali, compresa anche lavatrice utile per soggiorno più lunghi. Temperatura e climatizzazione delle stanze perfetta, presente anche riscaldamento a pavimento. Abbiamo avuto un problema con riscaldamento di uno dei due bagni, rapidamente risolto pure essendo nel periodo di capodanno. Materassi futon molto comodi. Casa un po’ difficile da raggiungere con taxi perché autista non ha seguito le indicazioni stampateci dall’ufficio check-in ma ha seguito GoogleMaps (che dà indicazioni sbagliate! Attenzione!). Abbastanza vicina a Gion, ma bisogna camminare un po’ prima di arrivare nel cuore del quartiere. Kombini Lawson comodo vicino per fare la spesa. Akiko sempre disponibile e gentilissima, ci ha supportato in ogni momento.

Maison typique Japonaise avec tout le nécessaire pour se sentir comme à la maison. En prime, ce bain privé dans le petit jardin on l’on peut rester longtemps sans que l’eau ne refroidisse ! J’ai adoré 🥰. 7 min pied d’une ligne qui remonte vers le centre Kyoto et c est une gare JR pour ceux qui ont pris les pass. En conclusion, parfait ! 👍

Very nice place (nice finishes, spotless, comfortable beds and floor mattresses) in an excellent location (quiet neighborhood 15mn walk from the touristic hot spots). Barely any common space which we used as an incentive to go explore the city :)

Very comfortable for 3 of us. It is within 15-25 mins walk to most attractions partly on narrow roads. Taxis can conveniently stop right outside the apt. The apt has easy-to-use amenities eg washer cum dryer, relaxing round bath tub, 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms, well-lit rooms on 2nd floor with comfortable floor mattresses. Little space downstairs if you have many big suitcases as stairways can be narrow to move them to second floor.

We stayed 4 weeks at Q5 t h's traditional home. It’s located in a residential area, with a good bakery, supermarket and a very helpful pharmacy near by. Our host was very responsive, helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with. Because this is an old traditional house for us it felt very cold during the raining chilly days in Kyoto, but our host was kind to provide an additional heater to keep us more comfortable. The house is spacious, the king bed was comfortable, the shower has a great pressure, and the little zen garden was a pleasant view. The area is very quiet and there is near by train and bus to easily get to all the sights of Kyoto. We have been to Kyoto in previous years and always stayed in hotels, renting a traditional house gave us a better perspective of daily life in Japan.

Beautiful place, Omoide is helpulf, nice, respecful. He gave us important information about Kioto, places to eat and what to do.

Our stay at Yanbin’s place was great! We really felt at home, at a Japanese home! Place is great, location was awesome! Away from the tourists but still super close to any action Kyoto offers! Yanbin was super friendly, always willing to help and put up with all my questions! Honestly a great place, plenty of room, comfortable and great location! Our kids were very careful around the house, but with so much space it was really great! Everyone had its own corner in the house to enjoy their reading, playing a game, reading a book or sipping a coffee/tea/sake! Highly recommended without a doubt! Thank you Yanbin, see you next time!

Lovely time at Kyoto House! A really fun space, mix of classic Japanese and western style. The doorways are a little low if you’re tall but really no complaints. Would stay again!

The open air onsen is extremely nice. And there is a cheap parking lot right next to the house. The bedrooms are spacious, neat and clean. Nevertheless the living room is small and better to accommodate 4 persons. In a nutshell, it is a good place to stay. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful.

This is one of the absolute best air bnbs I’ve ever stayed in. I can’t recommend this place enough! Beautiful home that is an unforgettable experience. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Kyoto and would recommend to friends and family. This is a stay you will remember forever!!

Very nice place with clean and hot tub including place! Drinks, gifts, and quick communications are great to feel welcome at place.

As a group of 6 adults, we stayed in this beautiful, clean home in April 2025. Everyone was impressed with how high end and comfortable everything was. Even better than the pictures! Appliances were high end and there were wonderful small details such as fresh flowers. I recommend making toast in the Balmuda toaster (add a spoonful of water in the receptacle to first steam the bread). The kitchen has everything you could want. Located a 5 minute walk from the KH line with easy access to Nishiki Market, Gion, Fushimi Inari, and Kyoto station. We were sad to leave. Not a cheap accomodation but worth the money and would consider again if travelling with a group!

Spacious, elegantly furnished and very peaceful. We loved the house and its location - right next to the Tōdai-ji temple and the Deer Park. We had a bit of an issue entering the house as the code given to us was incorrect … but was just a little hiccup in our overall stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend this house to anyone coming to Nara. We stayed 3 days and we could have definitely stayed longer!

家のような安心感とリゾート地のような贅沢空間が共存している、とてもリラックスできる宿でした。 日常から離れリフレッシュできる場所を探して予約しましたが、望んでいた通りの空間でまた利用したいと思いました。 次回は、ステーキ肉でBBQしたいです！ 本当にお世話になり、ありがとうございました！

仲間8人で使用させていただきましたが非常に設備も整っており 快適に過ごすことができました。 また当日の天候がすぐれずに気温が低かったですが、室内、室外の薪ストーブが新鮮で温かみがあり最高でした。 次回は暖かい時期に予約したいです。

サウナ、コテージともに綺麗で過ごし心地が良かったです！寝具はフカフカでぐっすり寝ることができました！ また利用したいです！

とにかく設備も揃ってるし、 全てが清潔感抜群。 プライベート空間としても塀が高いので良し。 また活用させてもらいます
