Cottage vacation rentals in Lake Anna

This is a lovely farm with several cottages and homes available for stays. The grounds are spectacular with pastures filled with horses, gorgeous ponds, and amazing landscapes. The servants cottage met our needs perfectly. We stayed for only one night while traveling home to NY after snowbirds a couple months further south. I have family nearby and hope to stop here again in the future for a longer time. The cottage was well kept with a BBQ grill that my husband happily made our dinner on! There was also a portable fire pit that we enjoyed while having our after dinner cocktails. Super responsive and helpful! We highly recommend staying at this farm and can't wait to go back.

Had a wonderful stay within walking distance to Lake Anna. The house was amazing and perfectly suited for our guests. The home was clean and inviting from the moment we arrived. We would love to come again and stay for a future trip. Highly recommend.

We’ve stayed in the pond house now twice and love it!! Grilling while looking down on pond is very relaxing! The house is great and the surroundings are amazing!!! Looking forward to another trip with my family!

Beautiful hideaway in the middle of the snowy woods and only a quick drive to the grocery store, restaurants and wineries! Loved relaxing by the fire and enjoying the scenery. This place is the perfect weekend getaway to decompress and enjoy nature. Also spotlessly clean, especially given it’s dog friendly! Cant recommend enough!

This was the perfect weekend getaway! We enjoyed drinking morning coffee on the porch with our pup and soaking in the hot tub at night. We visited a local winery and had delicious meals in town! Definitely a great place to wind down for a few days!

The cottage was very nice and conveniently located. Big yard and ample space to park a large truck. It was easy to find and suited our needs. Our one issue was resolved quickly with a text to the owner. Bathroom/shower mat did have ample evidence of mice although we did not see any. Would stay there again.

The location was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were spaced apart for our two-family get together to have some privacy. Communication was easy. A stunning night-sky was an unexpected bonus. We would stay here again!

We greatly enjoyed our visit! Beautiful surroundings with lots of space inside to accommodate a family comfortably. The home was clean and as pictured. We had everything we needed and thoughtful extra towels - and a luxurious sauna! Thank you Leo for a wonderful stay!

We had a relaxing stay with our doggies. it's a cute and cozy cottage. Kim was gracious and responsive. It's a lovely property. I slept in the downstairs bedroom with the doggies, which worked out because they couldn't climb the stairs and I'm scared of heights. I'm addition to the smart TV, the cottage is stocked with a great selection of movies.

Exactly as described, the cottage is a great deal in a convenient and wonderful location, would stay again.

Lisa's AirB&B was so unique. My husband's and my remark when we opened the door was WOW. The house was remarkablely decorated. After we unloaded our car I had to just sit back and check everything out. Amazing!!!! The view on the outside surroundings is breathtaking. We spent most of our time 30 minutes away with our family, but just to walk outside each day was so peaceful and heart warming. All the vegetation was so beautiful. I was just sorry we didn't have time to enjoy it more! Thank you Lisa for making our stay so wonderful.

Our family enjoyed our time at Patti’s place. The place is comfortable and easy to navigate. The outdoor seating areas are relaxing and great for star gazing.

Fantastic stay overall. The host was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. We made an oversight during our booking in that we didn't notify in advance that we were bringing a pet, but once we explained the issue and discussed it with the host, she was very accommodating and allowed us to pay the pet deposit and stay. She has two small puppers who tagged along with us on several walks around the property (highly recommend walking up Bruce's Mountain for a spectacular view!). Would happily return for another stay in the future.

This is our second time staying there and we loved it! So close to Orange so we can run into town and get food, come back home and relax. The dog has a fenced space to run around in and even friends (Hillary's pups) on the other side of the fence to run around with :) It is the perfect place for us to unwind, relax, and prepare for our international travels! A lovely & quaint place to stay that's well kept and clean. We loved the historic element of it. We stayed one night but this is on our list to return for a longer stay! Close to Lake Anna and a short drive to Orange.

What a fun long-weekend. We enjoyed the kayaks and we literally spent the whole weekend in the lake. We didn’t even mind that the water was cold, being early spring. The house is really clean and beds are comfortable. The kitchen has the basic necessities and we didn’t have any problem cooking all meals there. We will definitely be back.

The Shade Tree cottage was super comfortable. We felt right at home! We loved the little extras like charging stations, spices in the kitchen, laundry detergent, soap and shampoo in the bathroom. The large kitchen table was great for having friends join us for dinner. We greatly appreciated Matt providing the shower chair we requested. If we are ever in the area again, we will surely stay at the Shade Tree cottage!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The cottage is completely remodeled and provides a great space for a small family to interact and enjoy the lake. We had a mix of cooking on the Blackstone/kitchen and eating at some of the local restaurants on the lake. Christine and her husband were very friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful week on the lake. We used paddleboards and rented boats and wave runners from the local marinas. Smores by the fire pit were a bonus!
