Monthly Rentals in Lake Amboseli

This is a place, where you can experience the African culture and living. The host upgraded for free our room with a better one, which was our first positive impression. We visited Little Amanya camp in the rainy season, so Kilimanjaro was almost permanently hiding in clouds, but in exchange the temperatures were better. A lot of birds could be seen and the Observation Hill point is definitely a spot that must not be missed if you explore the wonders of Kenya! The guys had prepared a wonderful breakfast for us, and African food there in general was genuine and delicious 😋. It is a budget location that in the dry season would easily beat the Masaai Mara overpriced accomodations.

Was a great option to stay close to the park on locals land technically outside the park boundary but because there’s no fence you have direct access to the park! Park is great for self drive option and roads well marked and elephants easy to see. Comfortable 2 bedrooms and clean bathroom with hot water. Kitchen well stocked and water provided. Awesome sunrise view, Kili 1/2 seen during morning and evening :) We had a rented Land Cruiser, roads bumpy but very doable.

Wow, what a find. I almost don't want to tell people about it! Incredibly convenient and close to the entrance of Amboseli National Park. Super clean! Super comfortable beds and duvets that were just perfect - not too hot and not too cold! We watched the sun set with our G&Ts and watched the amazing stars by the camp fire. The stars and the Milky Way are so bright and it was so cool to see the stars of the southern hemisphere . Every night at bedtime we were serenated by hyenas, lions and elephants in the distance and in the morning we had our coffee on the veranda watching the changing colors of the sunrise on Mount Kilimanjaro. The bathrooms were immaculate. I highly recommend Ali's tented camp!
