Jue's Cosy Family House with Garden in Kilimani
We had a wonderful stay at this cosy and spotless family home. From the moment we arrived, Jue made us feel incredibly welcome, even going so far as to cook a meal for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Nairobi with plenty of great amenities within walking distance. The security guards were also very friendly and helpful, adding to the overall sense of comfort and ease. This truly felt like a home away from home, perfect for our little family. This is what Airbnb should be about! Highly recommended!

Serenity Oaks Karen III 0768,440,660
Truly an outstanding place to stay! We recommend you book it immediately. Honestly, even after looking at the pictures, the property exceeded all expectations. Great for our family of five people. Wife and spacious house, kitchen, and bedrooms. Numerous balconies off each bedroom. And the large patio out the back door was especially lovely in the mornings. Most of all, lovely people to deal with!

My family and I had an amazing stay at Agnes and Jeremiah’s place! From booking to checkout, they were super friendly, responsive, and full of helpful tips that made our trip smooth. The house was spotless, beautifully presented, and full of charm, truly a home away from home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook comfortably, and every detail was thoughtfully covered. The location was perfect, safe, peaceful, and close to Nairobi National Park, the Giraffe Centre, and shops. Our kids loved the toys, books, and games, which kept them happily entertained. Mark the caretaker was fantastic, always helpful and quick to respond and the housekeeper did an amazing job keeping everything spotless. This was easily one of our best Airbnb experiences. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning to return! Highly recommended to anyone looking for comfort, warmth, and a memorable stay.

Rinyo's place was a delight. Spacious with well thought out modern finishings in a secure premises. Family friendly amenities like the creche and baby pool. The gym was one of the best I've been in a non-commercial setting. Very friendly service people. Would visit again!

Sakoya One
Beautiful apartment at a great location, super convenient and fantastic host.

Urban Residence In Kileleshwa
We stayed here because we have friends in the building and also because it is a recommended safe and peaceful location. The flat is high up with lovely views and no high-rises right in front so you can enjoy the vista from the balcony. We had everything we needed. The drinking water container was nearly empty when we arrived but the host had a new one delivery very promptly. The bed we used was extremely comfortable. The pillows weren't (they are massive) but it wasn't a major issue. It's an easy location to come and go from - the security on the gate are friendly and helpful. We would stay again!

Elite 1BR apartment Westlands Pool,Gym &Fast Wi-fi
Gina was super helpful and always responsive. Her place was beautiful and exactly what i needed. Great view of the city from the balcony and the pool and gym upstairs were great additions. Security at the door so no need to worry about that. Only thing that was a little hard to figure out was hot water in the shower but she helped get that sorted quickly and then i was good to go. I stayed in a different place for less money later on in my trip and found myself wishing i spent some extra dollars and stayed here instead. Recommend !

To date the best Airbnb in Skynest. I think from now I will make sure to only book that apartment. Furnitures are on point modern, everything you need in bedroom, living, kitchen. Three passage of the housekeeper per week. The terrace is well Agence. The flat is on a higher floor. The perfect Airbnb to date for me. I am really sad I could not extend longer my stay there. Shoutout to the housekeeper who helped a lot.

Nature's palette studio
Whitney’s was a great place for our Nairobi trip, the apartment had all the major things lookin forward after a long flight a comfortable bed, good shower and full privacy (barely any noise) apart of the various commodities the building has (mini market, coffee shop, restaurant). The location is great near a local park and a couple of minutes away on uber from malls, restaurants and the national museum. She was always helpful with local recommendations and willing to help

Hangar Nine
A truly unforgettable stay at Hangar Nine Pippa and Darrel were absolutely lovely hosts, warm, welcoming, and extremely responsive throughout our stay. Alex, the caretaker, was also fantastic, super friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. The property itself is stunning, just like the photos, if not better. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the advance information we received was detailed and incredibly useful. It made settling in so easy. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of Nairobi’s skyline, serene and peaceful, offering the perfect escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. We left feeling rested and inspired. Your guide to Nairobi
All About Nairobi
With a national park at its doorstep and wildlife all around, it’s no wonder Nairobi is known as the safari capital of Africa. Kenya’s capital offers outdoor recreation within the metropolitan area and its outskirts, as Nairobi is home to some of the finest gardens and parks in the country, and lush forests are just minutes from the city. And while that proximity to nature might be its biggest draw, the city’s neighborhoods are also worth exploring. North of the city center, Westlands is home to most of Nairobi's restaurants and bars, while Karen is more upscale, with boutique shopping and swanky bistros. Langata is the gateway to Nairobi National Park, where you’ll find a popular museum and the city’s waterpark.
For a taste of everyday life, head to the City Park Market to pick up fruits and vegetables and taste authentic local dishes like nyama choma (roasted meat, often goat) with kachumbari (onion and tomato salad with chilli). Another market not to miss is Maasai Market, where you can pick up traditional East African goods like handmade woven baskets, beaded jewelry, and textiles.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Nairobi
Nairobi’s high elevation means it experiences relatively mild conditions year round compared to other African cities. The most pleasant time to stay in a rental house in Nairobi is in the dry season, from June to October, when you can expect sunny days with little chance of rain. It’s also the best time of the year to see the abundance of wildlife in Nairobi National Park.
In June, the Madaraka Day festival celebrates self-rule in Kenya and the city comes alive with dancing, music, and food. The warmest part of the year is from December to early March, when you can expect hot and dry days with cooler temperatures in the evenings. The city experiences rainy seasons from mid-March to May, with a shorter one in November and December.

This national park also has an extensive wetland area, which offers a haven for over 400 bird species. You can experience it all on a safari walk or on a guided safari drive tour.
Karura Forest
Just outside Nairobi you’ll find the tranquil Karura Forest, one of the largest urban forests in the world. There are more than 2,000 acres of woodland, with streams, waterfalls, and scenic trails for walking and biking. This forest is home to indigenous wildlife including monkeys, antelopes, bush pigs, and more than 200 species of bird.
Nairobi National Museum
Spend a few hours exploring the Nairobi National Museum’s collection of artwork and cultural pieces from some of Kenya’s finest local artists. The highlight is the museum’s paleontology gallery, where you can see a large collection of hominid fossils, and bones from hundreds of local birds and mammals. The museum sits within a botanical garden containing many local medicinal plants and herbs.
