Almanor Ridge Retreat w/ Hot Tub!

Loved this rental. It was perfect for our whole family including our dog. It was a safe neighboorhood and not completely isolated which we liked. The hot tub was perfect to soak in after playing in the snow. We have school aged children so we were able to let them play outside with our supervision and build snowman and have snowball fights. The golf course was a short distance so we were able to take several of the sleds Carolyn had for us and found a nice hill the kids were able to sled down for several hours. Overall great place and will visit again.

This was our 3rd stay at Denise’s home, and it’s just as amazing as our previous stays. I am thankful that we have found our home away from home in the beautiful Chester/Lake Almanor area. Her home meets my 3 “C” requirements for a good rental—-Clean, Cozy and Comfy😍I don’t even bother looking at other homes when I’m planning our vacations in Lake Almanor. Lake Almanor entire house w/ hottub + room to play

What a wonderful and restful stay at Eva and Greg’s Almanor House! A friend and I wanted a girls' getaway to escape the 100+ degrees heat in the Butte County valley floor. We wanted to be close to Lake Almanor but away from the Labor Day crowds. This place was perfect in that we were minutes from a wonderful Pizza place, and other restaurants in Westwood and only 12 minutes from Lake Almanor for boating, hiking, picnicking, and lake-view restaurants. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated cottage with super plush couch, comfy beds, and fully stocked kitchen and two bathrooms. We ate our meals both in a breakfast nook and outside by the fire pit and we enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of exploring. The neighborhood was very quiet and we can see the stars at night. Eva and Greg were very responsive with our every question before the stay and were available by email/text. Everything from toiletries, towels, fresh linens, very nice cooking instruments were provided in this cottage. Eva and Greg thought of everything to make our stay incredibly comfortable. We definitely will return again!

This is one of the more well thought out places I’ve stayed. Everything was quality and the layout and use of space was fantastic. There were so many small touches in this place that made it comfortable and easy to use The host communication was second to none being flexible and kind, but also professional and highly responsive. It’s a smaller single-story cabin, but they absolutely make the best use of every bit of space would definitely love to come back!

What a nice, cozy, well outfitted cabin. We visited at the start of winter and grateful for the heater and wood stove to keep the cabin warm. The cabin is super cute with great tile work and cute touches all around. Fast Starlink WIFI and modern smart TV made it easy to stay connected.

Christine's place is at such a beautiful and peaceful location with green pastures and mountains all around you. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we ever had. We had a wonderful stay at Patti's place! It was peaceful and relaxing. It snowed and we loved it. Walked and played outside in the snow and warmed up by the wood burning stove. A relaxing stay reading, playing games and hiking outside. The beds are all memory foam and super comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, the view of the meadow, lake, barn and mountains are all fantastic. The road through the national park was closed but we made it to the visitor's center where you could sled and learn all about the park. Hope to come back sometime in the summer to explore more. Thanks for a great stay, Patti!

Beautiful cabin tastefully decorated and kitchen well stocked with equipment. 7 beds available when you include upper loft. Wood stove warmed up cabin nicely. Large porch and deck, beautiful and peaceful surroundings with forest and stream. Owner was working on property. Stopped and gave us a tour and explained all his plans for the place. Enjoyed full kitchen with stove and oven, microwave, on demand hot water, large fridge. Great location near Lake Almanor and gorgeous Indian Valley and Antelope Lake. Also close to Butt Valley Reservoir and Round Valley Reservoir and close to North Fork of the Feather River. Lovely place to stay.

This home is amazing! I’ve stayed here with my co workers for two weeks and the rooms are all fantastic. The kitchen has tons of room for whoever and comes with just about everything you can forget. The deck is arguably my favorite part, it’s stays shaded and the hot tub surrounded by pines is super relaxing. Meghann was super proactive with everything and made our stay here one of the best we’ve experienced in the area. 10/10 we wish we were going back next week.

Nick and his crew were responsive and helped us problem solve. The check-in process with the country club is cumbersome and confusing but they made it as easy as possible given the circumstances. Even accommodating and helping my mother in law get in when she couldn't figure out the app to unlock the door.

My family and I really loved staying at this beautiful cabin! It was extremely cozy for the cold weather, and was very comfortable for the three of us with three separate beds and very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Our host Nate was very responsive the entire trip and helped us figure out the best trails for hiking and also gave great advice for enjoying the area. We brought in our own food and made meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and had cozy evenings watching shows on the large projector screen. There are also lots of games and books to enjoy! The cabin is extremely close to the southern entrance of Lassen Volcanic National Park as well. It was a lovely and relaxing stay!

We were looking for a place to stay that was close to Lassen National Park and Eric's place was ideal! We were able to very easily and quickly drive from his house to the park entrance and trailheads. We had a wonderful visit -- hiked up the peak, did a ranger program in the evening to see the Milky Way, and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. If you're visiting the Park, I can't recommend Eric's home highly enough!

This was a great place to stay. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s very spacious and the location was really nice right on the golf course. Also, the lake is across the street which makes for a great view when going on walks. There is a day use area just down the road, as well as a playground. The house is full stocked with anything we needed, including the essentials for a trip with our kids/baby. We’d love to return and would definitely recommend.

Wow, what a perfectly outfitted little cabin. It has everything you need in a well laid out space. The two bedrooms are spacious and nice linens. The kitchen is modern with all the cooking equipment you might need. I love that there is a well equipped spice rack, oils and such. The wood stove is cozy and love all the nice touches. The backyard opens to open space the neighborhood is super quiet.

This is an absolutely stunning lake side home that had every amenity for families to make treasured lifetime memories. My favorite was the huge picnic table on the deck where you could have dinner and watch the sunset over the lake. Rich, is the perfect host, so flexible and responsive with anything you might need. My parents, husband and I enjoyed day trips to Lassen, fishing literally from the backyard and the beautiful scenery that surrounds this home. Quiet and peaceful, it’s the perfect place to get away from the stress of everyday life. Many thanks for sharing your home with us, we will be back!

Debbie house was everything we needed and more. She was so quick to respond with any questions and had so many recommendations for the area. We are a helicopter crew working in the area and are moving around a ton. She even had a second home we could move in to with a last minute change from our side of work. We hope to stay at any of Debbie's locations anytime we are in the area!

I grew up in Quincy so I know how beautiful and peaceful it is in Plumas County. Even so, this location has some kind of magic. Every window has a great view, l loved cooking on the gourmet stove, the house is steps away from Spanish Creek. There is a spectacular train track in the sky which is an engineering masterpiece. If you enjoy reading on a window seat, it’s downstairs in a sun filled room waiting for you. My husband and I will be back. The driveway entrance off the highway is super sketchy, but the second time we drove it was easier, that was the single issue we had with the property.

We spent three months in this stay for a travel healthcare assignment and I cannot put into words how amazing it is here. The best part is hands down Therese and this beautiful space. Nice large peaceful space, great for relaxing and playing games with the family. We enjoyed the pool table and the poker table very much. Kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to cook for the family. The snacks and wine at check in was a nice touch. There was plenty of warm blankets to curl up in, in fact there was a beautiful handmade quilt that reminded me so much of my own at home that my grandmother made years ago! The host Ernie was very responsive when I had questions, and I really appreciated that. We enjoyed our weekend stay, only complaint is we wish we would have booked for more time.
