House vacation rentals in Lajes do Pico

No words can describe our experience at this amazing vila. It was absolutely amazing: the house itself is very well located, the views are stunning. Marcos and Diana were very helpful in everything we needed. Pico island is an amazing place on earth and to get to know the island like we did was only possible with this 5 star accommodation. We chilled, we had swims in the infinity pool, had great barbecues…I will be back for sure. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Marcos for all the hospitality and kindness.

He's probably the best host that I ever had the pleasure of working with. He is so nice and sincere. I arrived with a laundry list of travel issue none related to his air bnb or really his concern. He even helped me after I checkee out. Seriously nicest man ever. The place is clean and great parking. It's small but perfect for when exploring the island. Do yourself a favor and book it now.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this Airbnb above Madelena. It was a great choice to stay on the outskirts. Stunning view from the house: lovely to spend time outside with a book or just watching the sun set over the ocean and island. The house itself is very comfortable and had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time with Jörg and Plonja! The reception was warm, the communication super straightforward. Everything was exceptionally clean – we have not experienced any other accommodation in the Azores that was so well maintained. The beds are very comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen great, the outdoor area with pool, sauna and sea view a dream. Despite the proximity of the hosts, you have full privacy. Great Airbnb with an amazing view to Faial. The house is very cozy with a comfortable bed, very calm and well equipped kitchen. The highlight was the whirlpool and the friendliness of Brigitte and her husband. They helped us with everything and had very good recommendations for the region and also brought us some fresh milk from the farm as we love this. Highly recommendable and we will definitely come back again. :)

This apartment exceeded all my expectations. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, even for a longer period. The view from the terrace is unbeatable — perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and some local cheese. Communication with Sónia was easy and pleasant. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone who loves peace and quiet combined with beautiful nature.

It is a luxury to be able to look out of one's window and see Mount Pico in the Atlantic Ocean. This is possible from the upstairs bathroom window. In late March, Velas and the rest of São Jorge were quite quiet and peaceful. We were very comfortable in the house. Great shower. Comfortable bed. The local foods in the welcome basket were well appreciated.

The place is really beautiful and you felt right at home. 😍 You are right on the sea. However, this accommodation is not recommended without a rental car, as it is just under 25 minutes' drive from Madalena and thus from shopping and restaurants. However, if you love peace and quiet like we do, this is the right place. At night, however, the peace is less, as Azorean ducks keep you awake in search of a nest. 😅 All in all, still recommended. 🙃

We love Diana's place! what an amazing view, . the faja is peaceful, stunning. stay here for sure! make sure you stay for a few nights to really take advantage and relax fully! we'll be back I'm sure! Diana's so friendly, helpful and it's great to meet the owner which can be a rarity these days on Airbnb we would've loved to have stayed for longer!

Lovely position overlooking Sao Roque, but a 20 minute walk uphill from the ferry so if that’s a problem recommend a taxi! Noelie was very helpful and quick to respond. The cottage is very well equipped and homely. Everything worked very well and we especially appreciated the gifts she left for us, as well as the Pastelaria just along the road.

A lovely large place on the quiet end of the island. Near a nice small town and 10 mins walk to a gorgeous swimming hole. Would definitely recommend.

Nice, modern place with plenty of space. Quiet area. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Everything as described. You can easily fit 6 people in there.

Unbelievable stay in this beautiful cottage. Dan was so kind showing us around the garden and letting our son feed the chickens. He gave great recommendations. The house is in the most amazing setting with the village walkable down a lovely path. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful, though unfortunately much too short, stay at Ivan's beautiful house. Rarely do Airbnb accommodations look even better than in the photos, but with Ivan everything was just right. Since our airline had canceled the flight to Pico, we arrived much later than planned in the late evening, but Ivan was there for us the whole time via messages and greeted us incredibly warmly even after 10 pm and showed us his wonderful house, where a few homemade treats were already waiting for us. The sea view in front of the terrace is simply wonderful! Unfortunately, we were far too short on the island to spend more time there and follow more of Ivan's recommendations, but we will definitely come back and would then want to stay here again and again. Thank you for everything, dear Ivan!

Very clean house, spacious, large terrace and fantastic views of the island of Sao Jorge. His mother lives nearby, and she is very friendly and helpful, and he is always helpful

The Atlantic view was absolutely breathtaking — waking up each morning to the sound of the birds and a panoramic ocean vista was unforgettable. The home was clean, absolutely well-modern-equipped, and thoughtfully designed to make the most of the natural surroundings. Our hosts were kind and responsive. The host representative Helena was very friendly and provided great local tips that made our stay even more special. Nice and warmly decorated apartment where you feel right at home with beautiful views over the ocean! Anything you need is present. Location is great for exploring the island. Marianna is a very pleasant and helpful woman with good tips. Recommended!

If you look for a quiet, peaceful and very comfortable place to stay on Pico Island, I would advise Bruno's! Very clean, tidy and complete. I really enjoyed my stay!

Great house, we were 5 and had a great stay. All clean which is very important. Distance to the village is walking, has a church, natural pool and cafe “Emigrante” very nice attendance. There is a small supermarket. Need a car, but you need it in any part of the island. Walter is great at responding.

We loved our stay at Marcia's place. Marcia is a very friendly and responsive host. The place is just wonderful. It's a beautiful Azores house with a small private terrace and a private garden right in front of the sea. The place is located in Lajes, about 30min drive from the busies Madalena. We loved our runs, walks, and swims in the areas surrounding the house.
