We are a Portuguese family that knows all the islands of the Azores, and completed in August 2018 this retreat, to get away from our busy lives in London. Until the day comes that we can enjoy it full time, we have decided to share the amazing space we have created with others that love the nature, mountain and sea that is always surrounding us. The house is within Prainha, the most beautiful parish of Pico Island, and within close proximity to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and bakery.

Charming Beach House along the Ocean

Located minutes from downtown Madalena, “Casa da Barca” is a charming space granting guests picturesque views of the ocean and island of Faial from one side, and iconic Pico Mountain on the other. Walk only a few steps out the door and take a dip into natural pools or enjoy a refreshment at Pico’s award winning Cella Bar. Your host will welcome you with some cheese and wine, giving you a taste of the Acores and getting your palate ready for delicious island food.

Relax in this paradise surrounded by nature and sea. Casa dos Socalcos is a charming space, located in Terra Alta, parish of Santo Amaro, where you will wake up in the middle of nature and with an extraordinary view of the Pico / São Jorge channel. The house has the amenities of a relaxed lifestyle. It has a bedroom / living room with 2 twin beds, a bathroom and a kitchen. The pedestrian trail "Caminho das voltas" passes right in front of the house.

House of the Black Cat

Located in a quiet area of the parish of Santo Amaro, where you wake up in the middle of nature with a fantastic view of the sea and São Jorge Island. Behind are the slopes of the northern part of the island. About 200 meters away is the Portinho bathing area. The house is equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. It has a bedroom/living room with a double bed, a bathroom and a kitchen.

Grandfather Francisco's House

Once a traditional wine cellar, built by Francisco Paulo in 1980, this villa served for many years as a production site and warehouse for the Paulo family's wine. The wine cellar has been remodeled and expanded, but it maintains the traditional elevations and the decoration and details of the times when it was used as a wine cellar. Next to the bathing area, it has a view that invites long nights of conversation.

Casinha Pim - Front of Beach/city house

Casinha em frente à praia de Porto Pim, com uma vista incrível e bem equipada. A 5 min. a pé do centro da cidade Tem TV cabo e Wi-Fi. Estacionamento gratuito perto de casa e espaço para guardar as suas bicicletas dentro de casa. Situa-se num antigo bairro de pescadores de frente para a baía e praia de Porto Pim e para o Forte de São Sebastião, muito agradável, tradicional e muito muito calmo.

Casa Acima da Rocha is “an inch and a half” from the rocks of the coast, with a magnificent view over the Pico-São Jorge canal, where you can be lulled by the whispering of the waves of the sea and the song of the seagulls. It is a newly rebuilt house decorated mostly with recyclables, optimizing existing materials and simultaneously providing comfort to those who enjoy it.

Casa do Lampião, for vacation on Ilha do Pico

House located in Santa Cruz, parish of Ribeiras (Ilha do Pico), with magnificent views of the sea. It has a capacity of up to 3 people, 2 bedrooms, an equipped kitchen, toilet and TV. Extremely quiet location, with outdoor counter, parking space, 30 meters walk to an excellent municipal swimming pool, free. Great place for children and for rest.
