If you want to warm up in the evening, you can swim or light a fire in the barbecue hut Nearby is a swimming jetty in Antorpa lake and Mästocka lake as well as nature reserves in Bökeberg and Bölarp. 10 minutes away by car is Veinge where you will find a pizzeria, grocery store, kiosk and outdoor swimming area.

Bergsbo Lodge

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Here you live in a cozy house on our farm, the view is fantastic and it is not impossible to see fallow deer and moose grazing in the field. At the back, there is a large balcony where you can see the sun rise. Proximity to lakes with fishing (fishing license required) and forest, 9 km to central Halmstad and 7 km to Hallarna where there are also restaurants. If you want to get to the sea, there are several nice beaches within 15 minutes' drive. Breakfast can be booked the night before.

Surrounded by meadows, forests and lakes this modern and winterproof country house invites you to get away from it all to enjoy the wonderful undisturbed nature, perfect for bathing, fishing, cycling and gathering berries and mushrooms. The house is continuously maintained. In 2024, the veranda roof was renewed and an odorless biological sewage treatment plant and EV charging station were installed - before that, among other things, a new fridge-freezer, stove, induction hob and dishwasher.

The farm is located along the west coast and is located in the middle between Copenhagen and Gothenburg and 15 minutes to the sea. The property has two apartments with extra detached rooms for larger groups (see more specified below). There are larger common areas such as a large fully-equipped kitchen with dining area for up to 25 guests and a large wooden deck just outside in a very pleasant garden to botanize in. You will not soon forget the beautiful views around the cottage! The location is just a 15-minute drive from the beautiful Mellby beach, Sweden's largest sandy beach. Here you can have a picnic on the beach with your car. In addition, you can reach both Halmstad and Laholm within 15 minutes.

A nice and cozy accommodation about 200 m from the sea, with access to small kitchen and bathroom. 1 Bedroom with double beds 180 cm width. 1 Bedroom with a sofa bed 140 cm width. You have access to TV with android in the house. Free wifi and linens are included in the cleaning fee. You and your friends/family are very welcome to enjoy the summer here in Halmstad! Staffansgården's guest house is about 70 m2. A newly renovated and cozily furnished accommodation with 4+1.5 beds. Quiet and rural location on a beautiful farm with origins from the 17th century mixed with a luxurious feeling of being close to everything. A stone's throw from Mellbystrand, Skummeslövs beach, Laholm and Kungsbyggets Adventure Park. Two minutes to the E6 and you are in Båstad or Halmstad in 15 minutes. Lovely place, all year round!

Coastguard farm by the sea

Charming coastguard cottage, built in 1909, in southern Mellbystrand. Renovated in 2021. On the plot, which is 7500 sqm, there are several houses, our family uses 2 of them. This charming house has a courtyard with outdoor furniture. A small path leads down to the fantastic beach. Below the house is a newly-built house that partially obscures the sea view, but the proximity to the sea and the pleasant neighborhood, we hope, outweigh this.
