Great location. Very quiet. Can faintly hear the river flowing. Everything I needed to live there my 6wks was provided.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. As a digital nomad, I enjoyed having a separate office room with a lovely little balcony. Throughout my stay, the wi-fi was reliable and fast enough for zoom calls, and there was always electricity (even during country-wide blackouts). The view from the balcony and bedroom window was particularly nice, especially on new year's eve. Although you can hear traffic in those areas of the apartment, I rarely heard voices from outside or the neighbors, so I could easily work without distraction. The other tenants spoke English and were very friendly. The neighborhood itself is more traditional (not touristy) as the apartment is next to the main cemetery. I always felt safe there and it's an easy, flat 15 minute walk to the city's main square. The stairs may be problematic for anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place for anyone (solo, couples, families) looking for an authentic Cuenca experience.

Marce was a great host! She communicated very well and asked often how we were doing and if we needed anything. She was very nice. We stayed for a whole month and the apartment had everything we needed. It was very clean when we checked in. It looks just like the pictures. We felt safe in the neighborhood and the locks are keypad. The location is perfect because many taxi drivers know that street, so it’s easy to get around. There’s good restaurants at walking distance too, nail salons. There’s a small convenience store on the following street which is so convenient. I’d love to stay here again the next time we visit!
