A short stay with friends that we wanted near Carcassonne and quiet to meet in the evening. That's what we found. 3 large bedrooms, clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. A large living room that allows you to meet at 6. A very large exterior that lives by the cicadas and a small appreciable hot tub for soaking and chatting .

We had a great time at Monique & Charly's. The place was spotless and everything was perfect. The area is superb and Saint-Papoul is quite easy to access. The bakery in the village, 50 m away and the grocery store offer very good quality products. The hospitality and kindness of Charly & Monique were also very much appreciated ;-) - in short, we had a very nice week, with quite a few visits & hikes and were able to enjoy the heated pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts and bowling alley in front of the house. Thank you.

Lovely place and friendly, responsive host. Lots to see and do in surrounding area, but would recommend a car. Would be fantastic to come back in high season to enjoy the swimming pool. Thanks for a lovely few days.

We had a great time. Olivier and his wife are very responsive. The accommodation matches the listing perfectly. The water in the Jacuzzi is actually replaced. Its change from some air BNB.

Great accommodation with 4 bedrooms, ideal for families or groups. My son loved playing outside (children's games), and the outdoors is really nice for the summer. The two bathrooms are a real plus, and the place is spacious and clean. Tip: bring mosquito repellent!

Amazing location with endless views of water and nature. Denys was incredibly helpful and timely in his communications and he carried a translator which was super helpful with our basic French. The outdoor space had a variety of setups for wind and sun. We could walk or the door for exercise and enjoying spring nature. The vegetable basket from his local garden was so appreciated! We had three wonderful days! The place is lovely with its stone walls and insert! The accommodation is very well positioned and allows you to quickly reach the different places of interest in the area in 30 minutes by car.

This place was amazing for my family, we had my 8month old with us and the house is a perfect set up for babies. location was great on getting about places. Oliver sent over recommendations which were perfect for us and was also extremely flexible on checking out with our little one. perfect family place.

A great stay at François's, a very friendly person, attentive and always present if needed. We celebrated a friend's surprise birthday there and the place is absolutely quiet not to mention the beautiful pool that gives this stay a big plus! I would recommend everyone to go there without hesitation and take the time to chat with François who is a more than kind person 😁
