Relax & take it easy at this newly remodeled and tranquil retreat. Enjoy the peace of being in the country right on a 17 acre pond stocked with bass, crappie, bluegill & catfish. Yet just 15 minutes from everything you could need. Fish all day, sleep in, create happy memories at the fire pit, enjoy the treehouse OR go out & explore the great many things to see & do in this area! A short drive to Callaway Gardens & Roosevelt Park. Few people even know it exists except the owners whose family has occupied this land since 1835 . An hour South of Atlanta, the cabin is not primitive, it has all the modern convenience sitting on a 20 ac tract with bigger tracts of land adjoining. I have a five person sleep accommodation but if you are a larger family I can make an allowance. It is a very safe area and we are available if you need us.

Shanty in the Woods

In the country but close to everything. 2 min from I-185; 4 min from I-85. 1 hr. from Atlanta airport or Auburn. 45 min from Columbus. Unit is private comfortable rustic Studio Apartment with bath, for 1 or 2 ppl - (1 queen bed). Pool out front door! We live in separate log house next door - where 1 bedroom (queen) @ $35 is usually available for ADDITIONAL guests in YOUR party. Brkfst sometimes available for a fee by request.
