Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lafourche Parish

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully decorated and spotless home. It was incredibly comfortable and felt like our own house away from home. The location was perfect—just steps away from Magazine Street and so many great shops and restaurants. Margeau was an excellent host and provided lots of great recommendations for things to do in the area, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this Airbnb for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Great location on the water. Lonnie was very responsive. The dock area was perfect for our use. Great patio and deck area for lounging and hanging out. Inside the camp was all newly renovated. The kitchen area is great for cooking and hanging out. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking to go boating or just hang out on the water.

Amazing place to stay it’s right on the beach easy access to everything. She an amazing host very kind and helpful will be back!

Our stay was very enjoyable! The house matched the description perfectly. We appreciated the convenience of being within walking distance to various restaurants and bars. It was also a quick and easy Uber ride to the French Quarter, making it a great location. We look forward to returning in the future!

Nice and quiet, tucked back off the road. Clean rooms with plenty of space. Beautiful sunsets off the back porch and plenty of wildlife!

This charming Victorian style home was impeccably clean and well stocked with all the essentials. We loved the peacock decor! We were in Houma for a wedding so having 3 bathrooms to use to get ready worked out good. The weather was beautiful during our stay so we sat on the front porch and had our coffee in the morning and a glass of wine (provided by the host!) at night. It was a short walk to St. Gregory for mass on Sunday. I would highly recommend this beautiful, comfortable home to any visitors to Houma.

We really enjoyed our stay at this place in Uptown New Orleans! It’s in a great neighborhood—quiet, walkable, and close to lots of fun spots like Audubon Park and Magazine Street. There were some great local coffee shops and restaurants nearby, including a few that worked really well for eating out with the kids. We especially liked Dat Dog on Magazine Street and Frankie & Johnny’s—both were super kid-friendly and had great food. Street parking was super easy—we could always park right out front, which made things so much smoother with little ones. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were easy to communicate with, and check-in was simple and straightforward. We’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in town!

This studio was perfect for the two of us to stay for a night close to Magazine St. Good shampoos and conditioners in the shower which I appreciate. It was a little musty, but then again it is New Orleans where it rains often. Majority of the older properties are like this. AC worked great. Great location! Thanks Darleen! Charles was very friendly and always responded quickly. We went down south for a quick fishing trip and it was just what we need for a two night stay. We were very comfortable. We would stay again.

Mr Charles and Emma were so nice and very accommodating. very peaceful and quiet. If you love the bayou this is where you need to stay!!

Can’t wait to come back! Amazing home in such a walkable location-great coffee, restaurants all nearby. Having a parking space was an added bonus though street parking was also easy to find. Lots of charm from awesome Mardi Gras throws decorating the home. Running into Jimmy outside was an added bonus in addition for the great pasta he left for us. Can’t wait to stay again!

Fatima's Son and Husband was extremely helpful and friendly when we first arrived. I was at the wrong cabin and Fatima responded immediately. And her family guided us. Fatima had the sweetest spirit ever. Very welcoming and The cabin is Perfect for 2 people but we made 3 work. Their website was extremely helpful with finding places to explore. The place was very peaceful only 22 mins from the French Quarters in New Orleans. They had the best rates during Mardi Gras. I loved the screened in Porch which made it perfect for a late night or early morning Meditation, read, or journal writing. I would definitely use this place again. Very Cozy.

My husand I enjoyed our stay. it was as described. I appreciated the privacy and it was close to where we wanted to be. Fatimah was responsive to questions and helped solve minor issues we had with some of the remote controls. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at several Airbnbs before, but never one like Timmy and Terese's. We immediately felt like family. Their generosity goes above and beyond. They were always willing to offer advised for things to do, places to go or where the best fishing may be. They had extensive knowlege of the area and always a good story to share. They truly wanted us to experience the Cajun culture and even shared some authentic Cajun meals with us. The pictures of the house and grounds don't do it justice. The house was clean and they made sure we had everything that we needed. The pool, the hot tub and the beatiful landscaping helped us relax and make the vacation more memorable. We went to their place with fishing and crabbing in mind. Timmy and Terese were always ready with recommendations on where to go. The choices are endless either in the bayou, the lakes or even in the back pond. We would definitely recommend this Cajun Paradise.

The house looks exactly like the pictures! It was very clean, comfortable and pretty. The location was great and very close to the beach and local restaurants. The host was very kind, helpful and gave clear instructions. Would totally recommend this place to small groups who are looking for a nice trip to Grand Isle!

We really enjoyed our stay in Jean Lafitte. The surrounding area felt very safe and secure. We could not get over the beautiful surroundings. My kids had a blast fishing and learning how to use a casting net. Julie was the icing on the cake for this trip. We had a bad storm while we were staying there and she checked on us to make sure we were ok. She made sure we had everything we needed and she even blessed our daughter with a Christmas present. We would love to stay here again!
