Jeff’s place was lovely, private, and very thoughtfully appointed. We had a good stay and appreciated his hospitality and communicativeness, as well as the beautiful touches that make the most of a cozy space.

Perfect stay! Very tasteful and comfortable. Beautiful setting in the hills, mid century architecture and decor. Roomy, peaceful indoor/outdoor space. Nice bed and linens, shower pressure. Lots of windows for light and shades for dark and was cool on a very hot day. The kitchen is equipped for simple food prep so good to plan accordingly. I heard occasional activity from the hosts living on the floor above the flat but it wasn’t disruptive. As noted, you may hear coyotes howl, which I considered a treat. Hiking trails minutes away was a draw for me and proximity to urban conveniences. Experienced, thoughtful and courteous hosts made everything easy and enjoyable.

Cozy, quiet little cottage in a great location, very close to College Ave and many shops and restaurants. The patio garden was serene. Had a comfortable stay.

Karen and Mike were awesome hosts! We loved staying there and it was an easy walk to the grocery and bart. Felt secure, clean and comfortable.

Gina was an amazing host. I got a chance to book her place with my parents. It was their first ever experience with Airbnb, and they really loved it. She was very kind to check in with us at repeated moments, and ensured we have a great time at her place. Highly recommended from my side, and I’d love to re-book if I am in the area again.

The garden studio was perfect for our visit. It's close enough to walk to UC Berkeley, but away from the noise and bustle of campus. Also a short walk to Berkeley Bowl for groceries and a many good restaurants and coffee shops. We didn't have a car, but street parking seemed easy. The bed was very comfortable, and the neighborhood quiet at night. Morey is a great host — very responsive and helpful. He even found a phone cord we accidently left and got it back to us before we left town.

This was definitely one of my favorite Airbnbs I have stayed at so far. Beautiful location, great communication with hosts, the space was unique and clean. You honestly transport to another world once you’ve arrived. Very beautiful villa atmosphere and nicely tucked away/private, would definitely stay again!

I always stay at Airbnb's when I'm traveling... this one exceeded all of my expectations! Mike's place is paradise. The views are phenomenal and the little coastal town of Pacifica is welcoming and comfortable. They recommended lovely hikes and places to eat. (Devil's slide hike was spectacular and make sure you check out Soul Grind Cafe!) I can't wait to visit again next year!!!

We are just back from a 6-day stay at the Suite on Camden and loved it. The suite has lovely gray and slate blue decor throughout, a super comfy bed, huge closet, beautiful bathroom and a full kitchen with everything you need to cook! The deck and backyard are so spacious and pretty - perfect for enjoying an evening drink and for quick potty breaks for our little dog. The neighborhood was a sweet surprise - quiet (although close to the freeway), beautiful views from the hills, flowers everywhere, very walkable with our pooch and everyone we ran into was so nice. We are spoiled now - can’t imagine staying anywhere else when going to the Bay Area - thanks, Sam and Jessica!

We loved staying at Laura’s place! It was very cute and cozy - the perfect space for the two of us. She supplied all the essentials and more. The backyard was absolutely beautiful, especially when lit up at night. The home was located in a safe neighborhood and within walking distance to many stores and restaurants. Highly recommend this place to stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The view of the water was amazing to wake up to, lots of wildlife, and felt very private. The studio is clean and charming and has plenty of kitchenware despite not having a full kitchen! Would definitely stay here again.

Rebecca’s place is homey and decorated beautifully as well. The garden and privacy of the patio and sitting area is perfect. She has thought of absolutely everything you would possibly need or want while there. She had treats out for my pups when we arrived and treats for me in the cookie jar. The bed was very comfortable and homey. It was pup friendly, which is a huge plus for me. The yard is fenced and secured with a locked gate which gave me peace of mind. Will stay here again when visiting Benicia.

Christine is a fantastic host. When my plans changed slightly and again when my flight was delayed, her rapid reply emails relieved any travel-related concerns that bubbled up. Great stay! We visited with our two children and the apartment had plenty of space for all of us. Easy to find, convenient parking, Gaurav was super helpful and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay again!

This place was perfect for my stay. It was very private, clean, comfortable, and came stocked with many amenities. The neighborhood felt safe, and many restaurants and stores were within a convenient walking distance. It was also located close to public transportation, and parking was not an issue. Sayaka was an extremely gracious and communicative host, and helped us feel right at home during our stay. I would love to come back any time!

My sister and I loved our stay here! It was nice and cozy and felt very private. The hosts’ expectations and instructions were super easy to follow! And the place was super tidy as well. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Berkeley! :)

This is the second time I've stayed here and will be returning for more time as I look for a house in Oakland/Berkeley. The location near the Claremont and neighborhood is one of my favorites and Malcolm's place is so convenient to Rick and Ann's, Fournee Bakery, Peet's and the neighborhood for walking and exploring. It also has great access to the Oakland hills and throught the back way to Orinda and Lafayette. A perfect location.

It was a great spot for a one-week visit to the area. It's a quiet neighborhood with views of the Bay and beyond. Blake Garden is just a three-minute walk away, and it was beautiful in May. We spotted local wildlife in the area (mostly when driving home at night): deer, raccoons, and a downhill neighbor seems to have a skunk family living in their driveway. The unit itself is perfect for a couple, and the sofa bed was comfortable for a kid of any size. The shared laundry room was available and convenient. We agree with others who have noted that the in-wall space heater was a little loud. This would not normally be a problem for us, as the droning fan creates white noise -- except at certain temperatures, the thermostat would occasionally cause it to repeatedly turn on and off. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning if in the area again.
