Everything was as described, we felt very comfortable!

Insanely great place to stay if you are looking for a place to relax and feel good! The living room invites you to linger with good music and fantastic views with a good glass of South Styrian wine from the wine cellar located in the house. The hot tub and sauna provide pure enjoyment and relaxation after a little sports in the in-house gym. In the cozy beds, you can then recharge your batteries. An all-around great spot! And the owner is, also does not want to go unmentioned, extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. We will be happy to visit again:D

The beautiful house is centrally located in the village of Mauterndorf. The various ski resorts are easy to reach by car. The house is spacious and neatly tidy. The large sliding door allows for plenty of light. The bedrooms are spacious with TV and plenty of closet space. Mattresses are firm and the pillows soft. Hostess Nina is very friendly and helpful, she responds quickly to messages or questions. The house is well insulated in terms of noise and temperature. Parking directly in front of the door on your own property. Highly recommended!

Great place, quiet location. I'd love to come back.

Staying in this house was just amazing. It's actually much nicer than the pictures. The large windows in particular make the stay so special – whether at breakfast overlooking the countryside or in the evening snuggled up on the couch in front of the fireplace. The house is superbly equipped – not only with all the kitchen utensils and machines you need, but also with many practical things such as salt, oil, pepper, dishwasher tabs or washing powder and much more. This makes the stay pleasantly uncomplicated. The communication with Jaap was always warm, quick and very attentive. You can tell that it's really important to him that his guests feel comfortable – thanks for that. A special extra: The pool is currently being completely redone. If you arrive in the summer, you can look forward to a brand new, beautiful pool. Clear recommendation – we will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful short vacation with Ute and her family. The location of the apartment is beautiful. Fantastic for our children, too. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and received many great tips for everything. We will certainly be happy to come back and thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Looking for a rustic alpine hut, arrived in cold and fog, but then compensated with a breathtaking panorama! A beautiful cottage that invites you from the first moment, super well equipped, a warming stove for cold days, places to linger and dream. Great hikes along the lakes or to the peaks. A dream, a place to return!

Great location, big and cozy house.

Large house which is well taken care of. The Billiard and dart room are good fun. Parking on own terrain is practical.

Very nice house in a quiet location with top amenities. We felt right at home. The east and west terraces offer seating for any time of day.

Marius was a wonderful host welcoming us and showing us around the house. He was also very responsive in the communications and always there to offer help and guidance. The view from the house is breathtaking, scenery and absolute peaceful silence. It was just what the doctor ordered for us to rest and recuperate with nature but not lacking any convenience. House itself was very comfortable, roomy and very clean. We visited Altausee and Grundlsee which were quite closeby and highly recommend. On Sundays, there is a self service grocery store in Altausee that we utilized as everything else was closed. We highly recommend Marius' place to anyone visiting the area.

Lovely, quiet chalet in a tranquil environment, set among beautiful countryside with views to match. Lots of different walks and hikes nearby and local villages within 15 mins drive, should you require them. They also provide breakfast and a home cooked meal service for the times you don't want to prepare anything. The chalet has a very nice sauna and huge ensuite bathrooms in the main bedrooms. Katharina and Andreas are the nicest, most helpful hosts you'll ever meet! I feel so relaxed after the stay. Would definitely stay again and I imagine this would be brilliant in the winter, too!

Had a great stay in the apartment. Loved the car port, which had space for 2 cars which meant we didn't have to de-ice the cars in the morning. Accommodation was wonderful and spacious, so we were able to relax in the evenings. Location was great for the Kreischberg ski area, only 5 minutes drive away, and the host Doris was very responsive. Would certainly be happy to go back again in the future when we go skiing again, and possibly even in the summer to experience the patio and balcony areas around the property.

The accommodation is really fantastically beautiful, especially the view of the mountains and forests was simply magical through the huge window front in the living area. The bathroom cabins integrated in the rooms were also super practical for eight people, so that everyone had their own shower, sink and toilet. Also, that dogs are allowed, made us very happy – so we could take our four-legged friend with us without any problems. Beautiful hikes in nature start directly from the front door, so you hardly need the car except for shopping. And if the weather doesn't cooperate, you can simply stay indoors: the cozy atmosphere, the sauna, and the hot tub (without bubbles) ensure perfect relaxation after a long day outside. Overall a completely successful stay – we would come back any time!

It was super nicely maintained, clean, everything you need was there with 6 adults and 7 children out of season, but it was definitely worth it. The children liked to inquire about the area...we will definitely come back

Very good value for money! Kitchen is large and superbly equipped. Relatively steep stairs lead to the bedroom on the 2nd floor. Totally quiet location and cozy.

We had wonderful holidays in this very special house! Everything is decorated with an incredible amount of love and taste! Every little detail fits perfectly into the overall concept. It's totally cozy and just lovely! We felt incredibly comfortable from the first moment. Communication with Herman was very warm, quick and straightforward. He was always approachable and responded extremely quickly. Outside you can't decide which seat to use because they're all so great. The view and the air are fantastic. Hiking trails start directly from the house and you can also do a lot nearby. The village is cozy and our daughters loved the freely accessible fire pond converted by the villagers into a swimming pool. In short: an accommodation cannot be better!!!! We are glad that we were able to spend our vacation here and would very much like to come back again!

We had a really enjoyable stay at this chalet. The surroundings are beautiful, surrounded by nature and perfect for relaxing or taking walks. The house is very comfortable and well organized, ideal for groups or families traveling together: everyone was able to enjoy their own space and privacy. Highly recommended!

The Almhaus was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and incredibly well equipped (especially the kitchen). The surroundings were gorgeous and we enjoyed the outdoor space as much as the house. The private sauna and indoor infrared cabin were great bonuses, as were the travel crib, high chair and board games, as we were travelling with a baby and older child. Erika was very hospitable and communicative. I highly recommend the Almhaus for a relaxing getaway in nature. I would love to return for the ski season!

Everything ok, I recomended👍 If is snowing the snow chains or 4x4 car are necessary.

We have been there for the 2nd time and will definitely be back. Great house. We were there with our kids. Each bedroom has en-suite bathrooms . The kitchen is well equipped and everything is spotless. Perfect place for a relaxing break.
