A great place for people who want to experience the vibe of the French coast of the Arcachon Bay. Nearby is a great fish restaurant by the beach and the harbor with the sunset over the bay, where at high tide the water extends almost to the table, opposite you can see the lighthouse and you can't have fresher seafood. If you don't want to drive anywhere, everything is at your fingertips, a bakery, a shop, a café, several restaurants, and lots of walking options along the bay. By car you are at the endless beach of Le Porge Océan in 40 minutes, in an hour in Arcachon or on the largest dune of Duna du Pyla. The highlits for me personally included a trip with a sympathetic host in his iconic Citroen CV2. Another way to get to know the area is to use the network of separate bike paths, which are a full and especially safe alternative to car trips. We were enchanted by the place and atmosphere and we were literally absorbed, and we will definitely come back to friendly and nice hosts at the beginning of September.

Pleasant stay, which went very well. The host was always available and responsive when interacting. The property matches its description. It was well placed for us. Very close public transport and city center within walking distance.

Hélène's place was better than expected. Hélène is a lovely host and made me feel very welcome and at home. The room even has some kitchen utensils, a fridge and a microwave, which I didn't need but I was impressed.

A very pleasant stay close to downtown Bordeaux. Functional accommodation close to public transport (car stayed on site for 4 days). We absolutely loved our stay at Château Couffins! Nathalie is very responsive & ensured everything was prepared prior to our arrival. From the moment we drove up to the château, we knew we had arrived at a truly special place. It is located in a peaceful setting near the beautiful city of Bordeaux. Gabriel assisted us with our luggage upon arrival, gave us a tour of this historic family home, & shared several local restaurant recommendations. The château itself is breathtakingly beautiful. The bedrooms, as well as the living spaces, were both spacious & comfortable. We had the most wonderful time at Château Couffins & hope to visit again soon! If you are ever looking for a truly enchanting place to stay near Bordeaux, I highly recommend staying here.

I came to Saint Jean D'illac for a 3-day training. Had a great time at Nathalie's. Very responsive host, the proposed accommodation is very well furnished, impeccably clean, beautifully decorated and ultra quiet. Great!

Very good stay with Albert and Huguette. Comfortable and very well equipped accommodation. Very friendly and discreet hosts. Exterior with the perfect pool😊. Less than 1 hour from the Bassin d'Arcachon and 30 min from Bordeaux by tram... enough to vary the activities. We were afraid of the proximity to the airport for noise disturbances but that didn't bother us at all. We'll be back with pleasure!! 😊😊😊Marielle and Clément

Stunning place. Felt very relaxed during our stay and Fabienne was very communicative. The place was spotless and had nice amenities. Pool was amazing, nice and fresh.. would recommend getting a bike to get around but that's standard on cap ferret.

I had a pleasant stay at Patricia's - the studio is very clean, well furnished and equipped with quality and care; We have access to the swimming pool which is very beautiful. The hosts are both discreet and very caring, the location is good; I recommend it!

Adrien and his wife are welcoming, discreet and attentive. Don't hesitate to ask them what you might need to know. They will be happy to answer you. The studio offered is comfortable and quiet. In the morning you wake up to the songs of the birds that you can see flying in the trees of the garden. From time to time Peanuts, their Beagle, comes to be petted. Tram and bus are nearby as well as shops... I had a great time and will come back.

Very good hosting by Francesca, very available to her guests, very well located accommodation with shops nearby as well as many activities, and in particular a visit to the heart of the oyster basin with the famous fishermen's huts.
