Vacation rentals in La Scheulte

Where do I begin? Alena (host) was amazing from the second I booked this chalet all the way through checkout, and our trip home. I have stayed in many Air BnB's, and Alena was the best host I could ask for. Before we even checked in Alena had given me recommendations of things to do, places to eat, and had covered any detail I could have needed. During our stay she checked on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves (even though she was on vacation herself!!!) The chalet is even more beautiful in person, the chalet is surrounded by the Swiss Alps, and the scenery is like nothing I have seen before. Inside the chalet was almost as beautiful as the Alps outside, (no offense Alena ;) The woodwork inside the chalet is stunning along with the other beautiful decor. My family and I began our trip in Paris, and finished at this chalet. It was a long exhausting trip, and seeing the Alps had been on my bucket list for 40 years. This stay was a true dream come true. The apartment is very pretty and offers a beautiful view of the Black Forest. The starry sky is great. We had very nice Easter days there and did a lot of hiking. You can start directly from the house, there are many different tours. Thank you for the hospitality.

Beautiful cottage, ideal for 3 couples and children. Very well equipped. One bedroom on the ground floor with its own bathroom (Ideal with a baby). Very nice view. Farm animals right across for the little ones, beautiful walks for the older ones.

Very nicely located courtyard slightly above Lyss with direct forest and hiking trail end. Otherwise, a lot of peace and quiet , as you do not hear the highway or road. The room is right next to the entrance, which certainly offers less privacy than we were allowed to enjoy with other occupations of the other rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped and described. The instructions were very good, so we found everything quickly on arrival. Not everything was perfect - and Michael fixed it right away. We did not test the sauna. The bath linen is nice and soft, better than at home. The apartment is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. The radio, which had to serve as a Bluetooth speaker, has a good sound. TV not tested. The kitchen is functionally furnished and well equipped. When we return to the region, I'll knock here first!!!

Our second stay went like the first, very pleasant and quiet apartment with all the comforts you need for a family of 4 or more

Pleasant house in a small village, well equipped and well heated. The place is very pretty and the snow at Christmas allowed us to enjoy several places for tobogganing, snowshoeing and skiing. The refueling is very good in a large area three km away, there are several places towards La Besse and Gerardmer less than half an hour away for hiking and tobogganing. For little ones who don't ski well yet, there is after Ventron a track with a tensioner (15 minutes by car). In Ventron, a textile museum is more interesting than it appears with a demonstration of weaving and spinning. The house itself is well-equipped and clean and the automatic thermostat always brought us a pleasant temperature. All it really needs is a washing machine.

Thanks to our host for being so available and communicative. The area is quiet and pleasant, about ten minutes from the Bresse Hohneck station. We didn't get cold, the heating worked very well. We really appreciated the towel dryer to quickly dry the children's suits. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable with a very nice independent living room. Having a large fridge and dishwasher available was also very convenient. We'll definitely come back.

Very spacious, clean and as described. We had a pleasant stay with the family and were able to enjoy the surroundings (skiing, hiking, walks, ...)
