A pretty colonial style self catering chalet, with a three sided terrace, in the beautiful undulating countryside near Lautrec. The Duck Shed shares the two hectares green space with the main farmhouse, outbuildings and numerous large trees. The building is self sufficient, designed for two people but with a convertible double sofa in the living area. It is clad with beautiful old walnut planks and is a picture of serenity. The decor is simple and characterful, modern with warmth and charm.

First human presence (we!) 200m away: you will be alone in the middle of the woods. The 300 m walk includes a steep slope. Coffee and tea are available. We offer homemade meals. Bed linen provided, towels not provided. Communication via Airbnb, because the phone does not get a good signal at our place (in the cabin it's good).

We offer this 65 m2 18th century stone house located in the heart of the old hamlet of Frangouille and whose exterior is decorated with sculptures. The hamlet, backed by woods and the Orb Mountains, is located in the upper Orb Valley. The house, filled with travel memories, is located in a very quiet area. Guests can take advantage of its covered terrace, facing south, the garden and we provide African huts (30 m² annex) located in the garden.

Close to lakes (Raviege, St Peyres, Laouzas, Vesole), in the Haut Languedoc Regional Nature Park, hiking trails. 1-2 hours drive: the Millau Viaduct, Albi, the city of Carcassonne, reach the Mediterranean, the Canal du Midi, the Sidobre etc.
