A short stay with friends that we wanted near Carcassonne and quiet to meet in the evening. That's what we found. 3 large bedrooms, clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. A large living room that allows you to meet at 6. A very large exterior that lives by the cicadas and a small appreciable hot tub for soaking and chatting .

We had a great time at Monique & Charly's. The place was spotless and everything was perfect. The area is superb and Saint-Papoul is quite easy to access. The bakery in the village, 50 m away and the grocery store offer very good quality products. The hospitality and kindness of Charly & Monique were also very much appreciated ;-) - in short, we had a very nice week, with quite a few visits & hikes and were able to enjoy the heated pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts and bowling alley in front of the house. Thank you.

Lovely place and friendly, responsive host. Lots to see and do in surrounding area, but would recommend a car. Would be fantastic to come back in high season to enjoy the swimming pool. Thanks for a lovely few days.

Dominique is a very pleasant, responsive and discreet host at the same time. The gite on the ground floor is functional, clear, well-equipped and very peaceful. The dreary weather during our stay did not allow us to fully enjoy the outdoors but it was good inside with a very nice underfloor heating. Well-located cottage to fully enjoy the lake nearby. Great accommodation with 4 bedrooms, ideal for families or groups. My son loved playing outside (children's games), and the outdoors is really nice for the summer. The two bathrooms are a real plus, and the place is spacious and clean. Tip: bring mosquito repellent!

We can really recommend this home. We were traveling two adults and two teenagers but could have accommodated another family. The house is great and big. The area is quiet and peaceful but a car is a must if you want to get to different places. Lucien is an amazing host who recommended a bunch of sights and restaurants the area and we were able to sample and buy olive oil and wine from our own manufacturing. We'd love to come back.
