Old renovated barn with pool

Come and recharge your batteries in the countryside. It is an old barn renovated in the loft spirit, without partitioning. The accommodation is attached to our family home. You can take advantage of the indoor swimming pool from June 1st to September 30th. The space is equipped with one double bed upstairs and one sofa bed in the living room. We can make available 2 mattresses to sleep children. You will have access to the barn via a private garden. Heated accommodation only by wood burning stove!

The house is located in the hamlet of La Jaillette, on the Oudon River. The place is rich in heritage (12th-13th century priory church open for visits). I restored it with the most natural materials (cob, lime, hemp, old floor tiles, etc.). It consists of a living room with kitchenette (20 m2), a bathroom with shower (4 m2) and a bedroom upstairs under the attic insulated with wood wool. Private garden with furniture and umbrella.

Christophe is a very warm host, friendly, attentive and helpful, he gave me tips for special sights and excursions. As a guest, I could use all the necessary facilities in the house, even playing the piano (unfortunately I can't). I arrived by train, the apartment was easy to find and very easy to reach by public transport. Baker, restaurant and supermarket not far away, twice a week the fresh market. It was a great stay.
