Real home away from home! In the middle of charming Catarina. 5 minutes walking distance to El Mirador. Plenty of restaurants and bars to have fun near home. Easy access to transportation to Masaya, Granada and the Laguna. Paula will answer right away and Juan will be always in top of everything you need. Thank you both for a wonderful time!

The landscape and scenery were just spectacular! The place was so immaculately landscaped with plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks for relaxing. The caretaker was super helpful in getting us tours, restaurant suggestions and taking care of whatever we needed. The lake was beautiful and perfect temperature to swim in. We heard monkeys, roosters and tons of birds. It was a lovely jungle experience. The last night we had a major thunderstorm that lasted all night and we lost power so that was exciting and added to the full Nicaraguan experience. The road to get to the house is well paved, except the last 1/4 mile or so which was a rough dirt road so make sure you have an suv. I would definitely stay here again and for longer next time. There are restaurants a half mile away that are quite nice with equally great views.

We had the pleasure of staying at La Giralda. The view was amazing and everything is just as described. It’s a great place to take a step back, relax and enjoy nature. The monkeys and the birds greeted us every morning. We also saw a bat, a couple of cool squirrels and cicadas. Luis really went out of his way to provide great local recommendations and was super attentive to my family and I. Always willing to help and extremely friendly. There’s no doubt we will be staying at La Giralda again.

If you've ever dreamt of staying at a luxury nature lodge with modern comfort, amazing view, privacy, and tranquility (with a bonus of super attentive/most helpful host), this is it!!! Look no further! Casa Tuani was just perfect. I would honestly love to return here and would highly recommend this place to all of my loved ones. It was paradise on earth! The house itself and all the details are gorgeous and thoughtfully designed. With the ACs and fans in the bedroom, the rooms cool really fast and you wouldn't believe that you are in a hot/humid jungle/nature! Hot + clean water throughout, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom, comfortable in/outdoor furniture under multiple fans to keep everything pleasant. I don't know how, but they do a great job of keeping the bugs away even in the open air living room and kitchen. Lagoon easily/directly accessible through a few flights of stairs (not bad even at all!) and Alvarro carries the kayaks down/up for you. The host is the most helpful.TY
