Sabrina was a wonderful host, and the apartment is a beautiful place to relax in the historic center. We used the lovely kitchen far more than we usually do in an AirBnB because it is so well equipped. There's a lovely view of the Tiber out the back doors, with direct access to the walking path alongside it. Umbertide is the perfect place to reside when exploring Umbria. It's central and very accessible to other cities in the region. It has great amenities but not overtly touristy, making it a great home base to explore other medieval towns. It also offers some great hikes and several good restaurants. Plus, like Sabrina the people of Umbertide are very friendly and helpful. Truly like a home away from home.

Paolos place was like a little part of heaven on Earth. You get the most beautiful designed and refurbished house over looking the valley. A Spicegarden with all the sources you could imagine for your food, silence, and such a good taste in how the couple have made the whole place. There are walks to take and a small beautiful “village” with houses and an old Church nearby. And we could even charge our Electric car at Paolos place whole we slept. I cannot recommen enough

This was easily one of the best stays we had! First of all the place is beautiful. Room was spacious and had the minimum amenities needed. The bed was comfortable and we very much enjoyed the fire place. There are many areas to hang out and relax. Beautiful path to have a walk where you can also watch the sunset. We took fresh pasta making class provided by Alberto with few of the other guests and thoroughly enjoyed it. One of our highlights was a town 30 mins drive away called Gubbio, which offered beautiful restaurants and cafes and very much intact old town. Best of it all though had to be the hosts, Silvia and Alberto, both of whom were very genuine, welcomed us warmly and accommodated our wishes. Of course we cannot forget Furia, their lovely dog that we totally fell in love with. All in all a great stay and we’d love to be back any time. I wish them both much success, they absolutely deserve it!
