Cabin vacation rentals in Kymenlaakso

Four of our friends looked for a quiet getaway from the city for a few nights. Truly grateful that we found Hill Pocket. The hut sits in an enchanted mossy forest at the edge of an impressive cliff. Thanks to the cliff, the view from the patio and the sauna is amazing. We visited in September, so we had the privilege to sit at the patio watching and listening to flocks of cranes migrating to the south. The hut is cozy and spacious and the sauna deserves a medal. We found plenty of tasteful, artsy touches in and around the hut, it was great fun to explore the surroundings. All in all, a unique experience. Not every day that you stumble upon such a cool hut for rent.

An atmospheric and well-equipped cottage with good outdoor terrain. Not spoiled, but we found everything we needed. In the summer, I'm sure it's even nicer, when you can use the outdoor patio and other outdoor areas, now it's not a joy in the rain.

The place was lovely. The cottage was really neat and compact. Tasty steam in the sauna and the water is wonderfully clean and clear, the sandy bottom is plush. Communicating with the renter is quick and clear, wonderfully helpful too. Definitely again!

The reception was warm and we had a lovely weekend at the cottage. When we arrived, there was a cozy atmosphere – the candles were burning, the stove was heated, and the sauna was preheated. The cottage was very clean and cozy, and the surrounding nature offers stunning scenery and peace in the rush of everyday life. Special thanks also for the grill house, which made cooking easy and comfortable. The location of the cottage allowed easy excursions to Repovesi National Park, where we got to enjoy the beauty of nature. It's a place we definitely want to come back to.

We had an excellent family weekend getaway. The place is peaceful and the cottage very well oriented with sea and forest views. The sauna was working perfectly and we were able to test swimming in cold water. Despite the rain, our stay was very nice. The interior is very cocooning and good for reading with plenty of nooks for everyone. The place should also be crazy in the summer for nature lovers.

Beach Kari's cottage is in a great location by the sea, on a beautiful island. Karhula and Kotka services a short drive away. Neighbors are close, but the area is very peaceful. The cottage is cozy and atmospheric, with everything you need. Big warm terrace with seascape best in the cottage. Thanks!

Nice sauna cottage and quiet area 😊 Clear water and shallow, sandy beach. The rowboat was nice to do excursions around the island.

Cottage by the sea as described. Pekka is a very friendly and helpful host. The cottage served as a well-maintained accommodation for a fish group. As a minus, the lack of a pier, but the beach to a rocky beach was successful with a 4.5m wiper boat when the wind only about 2-4 m/s. In the hardest weather, there's already too much of a challenge, but luckily there's a harbor nearby that roars like a weather in the weather.

The cottage is super idyllically located right on the lake with its own sauna and a jetty into the water. It is excellently equipped (grill hut, rowboat and all necessary and sometimes less necessary kitchen utensils). We were very well received and felt comfortable right away.

Pasis cottage is a very simple and sympathetic place. Perfect small island and best sunset point. Pyhäjärvi is really beautiful. We really enjoyed the good sauna and one week of on the island. The description of Pasis place is realistic. It is an old place and not perfect clean. But we didn't wait any luxury cottage and we are very satisfied.

Simple basic cottage. Perfectly peaceful location in beautiful surroundings. For example, a week-long forest cabin getaway. The river is small, so it's not swimming, but it's suitable for calming down in nature.
