Cabin vacation rentals in Kymenlaakso

Four of our friends looked for a quiet getaway from the city for a few nights. Truly grateful that we found Hill Pocket. The hut sits in an enchanted mossy forest at the edge of an impressive cliff. Thanks to the cliff, the view from the patio and the sauna is amazing. We visited in September, so we had the privilege to sit at the patio watching and listening to flocks of cranes migrating to the south. The hut is cozy and spacious and the sauna deserves a medal. We found plenty of tasteful, artsy touches in and around the hut, it was great fun to explore the surroundings. All in all, a unique experience. Not every day that you stumble upon such a cool hut for rent.

Tunnelmallinen ja hyvin varusteltu mökki hyvien ulkoilumaastojen äärellä. Ei koolla pilattu mutta kaikki tarvittava löytyi. Kesällä varmasti vielä kivempi, kun voi käyttää ulkoterassia ja muita ulkoalueita, nyt sateella niistä ei ollut iloa.

Paikka oli ihana. Mökki todella siisti ja kompakti. Makoisat löylyt saunassa ja vesi ihanan puhdasta ja kirkasta, hiekkapohja plussaa. Vuokraajan kanssa kommunikointi nopeeta ja selkeetä, ihanan avulias myös. Ehdottomasti uudestaan!

Vastaanotto oli lämmin, ja meillä oli ihana viikonloppu mökillä. Saapuessamme meitä odotti kodikas tunnelma – kynttilät paloivat, liesi lämmitti, ja sauna oli valmiiksi lämmitetty. Mökki oli erittäin siisti ja viihtyisä, ja ympäröivä luonto tarjoaa upeita maisemia sekä rauhaa arjen kiireiden keskelle. Erityiskiitos myös grillikodasta, joka teki kokkaamisesta helppoa ja mukavaa. Mökin sijainti mahdollisti helpot retket Repoveden kansallispuistoon, jossa pääsimme nauttimaan luonnon kauneudesta. Tämä on paikka, johon haluamme ehdottomasti palata.

Nous avons passé un week-end en famille excellent. L’endroit est paisible et le chalet très bien orienté avec une vue sur la mer et la forêt. Le sauna fonctionnait parfaitement et nous avons pu tester la baignade dans l’eau froide. Malgré la pluie, notre séjour a été très agréable. L’intérieur est très cocooning et propice à la lecture avec plein de recoins pour tout le monde. L’endroit doit être aussi dingue en été pour les amoureux de la nature.

Rantakarin mökki sijaitsee upealla paikalla meren rannalla, kauniilla saarella. Karhulan ja Kotkan palvelut pienen ajomatkan päässä. Naapurit ovat lähellä, mutta alue on hyvin rauhallinen. Mökki on viihtyisä ja tunnelmallinen, kaikki tarpeellinen löytyy. Iso lämmin terassi merimaisemalla parasta mökissä. Kiitos!

Kiva saunamökki ja rauhallinen alue 😊 Kirkas vesi ja matala, hiekkapohjainen ranta. Soutuveneellä oli mukavaa tehdä retkiä saaren ympäri.

Meillä oli hauskaa. Paikka on erittäin hiljainen ja eristäytynyt, siellä on hyvät mahdollisuudet rentouttavaan lomaan. Omistaja oli erittäin ystävällinen, avulias ja seurallinen. Suosittelen tätä lämpimästi!

Really beautiful environment: peaceful private cottage in forest next to a small lake. Warm and cosy with all modern equipment. The sauna was the best. Clean cottage. Friendly host. Perfect. Warm even in winter.

Kuvauksen mukainen mökki meren rannalla. Pekka on todella ystävällinen ja avulias isäntä. Mökki toimi hyvin majoituskohteena kalaporukalle. Miinuksena laiturin puuttuminen, mutta rantautuminen kivikkoiseen rantaan onnistui 4,5 m pulpettiveneellä, kun tuulta vain noin 2-4 m/s. Kovemmassa kelissä jo liikaa haastetta, mutta onneksi lähistöltä löytyy satama, jossa rantautuu kelissä kuin kelissä.

Die Hütte ist super idyllisch gelegen direkt am See mit eigener Sauna und einem Steg ins Wasser. Sie ist hervorragend ausgestattet (Grillhütte, Ruderboot und alle notwendigen und zum Teil auch weniger notwendigen Küchenutensilien). Wir wurden sehr gut empfangen und haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt.

Pasis cottage is a very simple and sympathetic place. Perfect small island and best sunset point. Pyhäjärvi is really beautiful. We really enjoyed the good sauna and one week of on the island. The description of Pasis place is realistic. It is an old place and not perfect clean. But we didn't wait any luxury cottage and we are very satisfied.

Lyhyestä varoitusajasta huolimatta saimme mukavan, rauhallisen ja yksityisen mökkimajoituksen, jossa pääsi nauttimaan samalla puusaunan löylyistä kesäillassa. Satu-Maria oli ystävällinen majoittaja.

This stay was incredibly satisfying overall. The spotless, soft white bedding provided a cozy, while the well-balanced lighting made it easy to spend a whole day indoors comfortably. The room stayed warm, with perfectly functioning hot water. The sauna intense heat melted away fatigue, and alternating between the sauna and the nearby beach created a truly unique experience. Firewood and charcoal were provided generously, though the small charcoal pieces were slightly tricky to light. While grilling food outside, we had to use a handlight due to the dim outdoor lighting, but preparing simple indoor meals like toast for breakfast was easy and convenient. The peaceful surroundings and breathtaking scenery made it easy to unwind, even without activities. With its cozy atmosphere, excellent amenities, and serene natural beauty, this place exceeded all expectations. I would love to return.
