This is a lovely apt right in the centre of Tarbet. Close to the shops and the local hotel/pub. The place was spotless and Malcolm was easy to contact if required. There were plenty of extras to help make your holiday comfortable eg. Cereals,milk, coffee, tea and lots of goodies. Loved it.

This cottage was immaculate! The views are amazing, the house is so homely and comfortable, and we loved Scalpay itself. All the rooms were so clean and fresh, the kitchen was well equipped and a note with lots of local goodies was waiting on arrival, including something for our dogs!! The whole cottage was very comfortable, and there were loads of games for if the weather turns. We were lucky and spent every evening on the decking to the side of the property enjoying the views. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful holiday with plenty bird spotting and fishing, this is the place for you - absolute heaven.

Jonathan was an excellent host. Communication around the booking was clear and it was easy to find the bothy and check in. Situated in Stockinish, a small fishing village on the south of the island, and nestled between hilly rocks, we felt completely isolated (only seeing a couple of people for the whole trip duration) and lucky to have such an amazing landscape virtually to ourselves. The road to the bothy was easily accessible from the main road, and is only a short distance from lovely beaches and amenities in Tarbert. The bothy did not disappoint. Cozy and beautifully decorated, it was well heated and was the perfect place to retreat to after a day exploring the island. I would really recommend staying here, especially in the offseason!

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable & well equipped cottage in a spectacular location with superb views. The weather was glorious too, which allowed us to sit on the bench outside every evening drinking in those stunning views with a glass or two.
