Great place to vacation both in glorious summer weather and in autumn storms. A stone's throw to the shore and small boat harbor, and a few minutes walk to Hakallegarden visitor farm (check websites), and the beach Sandviksanden. The Hakalle staircase is located right above the cabin, and gives amazing views of the sea and the nearest islands. Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... Approximately 300 meters to the grocery store with everything you need. Electric car charging available in town.

Feel free to visit Klosterøya Selja If you want to visit Hoddevik/Ervik/Vestkapp you will find surf paradise and nice hiking areas about 40 min drive. Exotic with an outhouse! Water in the stream, light and heat from paraffin stoves, paraffin lamps and candles. Cooking on gas burners. At Trollvassbu, the days can be slow and the thoughts long-term. After a short time, stress will melt away. The presence of the mountain and the cabin must be experienced – or lived.

Location on Skredestranda, about 3.5 km from Årvik ferry dock, in a quiet and peaceful area. Here you can relax and recharge your batteries. You may be lucky to see a flock of sperm whales in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both large and small boats, as well as cruise ships on their way to/from Geiranger. The cabin is located 20 m from the lake, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep rocks and shallow depths. We have life jackets available.
