Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kutchan, Abuta District

Lovely comfortable stay in a beautifully designed, well-thought out functional and clean house. Upon entry to the house, we were impressed by the double volume height ceiling in the living room showcasing a private view of the forest. We stayed during summer and there was always an interesting nook at every turn in the house to enjoy the greenery outside. The family loved the comfortable stay, especially the kids who enjoyed the bridge linkway between the 2 bedrooms. Amenities in the bathroom and the kitchen were also similar to the listing details. Sound and TV Entertainment systems were easy to operate. There were games provided as well. I would stay here again for a longer duration in a heartbeat if I visit again in autumn or winter for a different feel. One of the best AirBnBs I have ever stayed in.

it was a really comfortable stay. For 6 of us there were 4 tatamis and 2 beds. Towels and toiletries provided were nicely organised into 6 baskets as well including bath bombs which we enjoyed. Facilities and other small items provided in the house were well thought through - including cables for electronic devices, hairdryer, facial wash and even toner, scissors, utensils... we had everything we needed and more. Location is an easy drive to Lake Toya along a nice scenic coastal route, whole there were many fruit farms to see on the other side.

What a perfect spot to stay for my family’s winter vacation! The snow was epic! The local resort, Kokusai is great and Rusutsu and Niseko are also a bit further on to explore. The studio’s central location is walkable to good restaurants and numerous beautiful onsens. It’s clean, warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. Neil was a fantastic source of local knowledge, which was very helpful in the authentic town of Jozankei Onsen. Highly recommend this place!

A simply stunning stay at Lake Toya. Cozily reposing in the beautifully appointed living room, watching the gentle spring sun slowly rise over the lake and sipping a fresh coffee from the provided hipster pour-over setup - does life get any better than this? Sachi has a crafted a simply stunning Airbnb with a gorgeous view over Lake Toya. Beautiful natural surrounds invoke a feeling of tranquility that is all too rare in this modern world. The location is walkable to the lake and all the best food & coffee the area has to offer, and is an easy drive to Rusutsu resort for incredible skiing in the winter. This place has it all. We had a joyous stay. The hosts are friendly, informative, responsive and their passion for the project is evident in their attention to detail. 10/10 would stay again in a hearbeat. Missing it already.

The accomodation was wonderful and kept in a great condition! The hosts were very responsive to messages and questions during my stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone to stay in as it’s close to restaurants and the slopes. 10/10

Our stay at Aki's house was great. The house was warm, clean, and spacious, and it was in a quiet area. While staying with a big family, we felt very comfortable because of the rooms and layout of the bathroom facilities. A highlight of our stay was the stunning view of the town and mountains. We could explore the surroundings easily. Our family loved the local sushi train restaurant with delicious meals and excellent service. The nearest supermarket was 5 minutes walk. Skiing slopes are just 35 minutes away. The bus stop is a 12-minute walk, where the bus can take you directly to the centre of Sapporo or the closest town of Otaru. Aki helped us with many things. She organised transfers and also recommended good places to eat. We are grateful to Aki for such excellent hospitality and prompt responses during our stay. Thank you very much for everything.

Great homestay, walkable distance from Yoichi Station, thanks to that we can leave our car there and enjoyed a wine pairing dinner. Beautiful interior and spotlessly clean. The stair a bit for elderly though but manageable. Host is responsive and helpful. 100% recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay, the traditional rooms in the house made the stay extra special. The house was very spacious and everything was tidy and clean. Amenities were great. We travelled with our baby and they even had a high chair, baby bath, bouncer and sleeping cot for use. The kitchen has extensive amenities. It was located in a very quiet area - not noisy at all. Local bakery and okonomiyaki restaurant just around the corner for an easy breakfast/dinner option. Easy drive to Lake Toya and surrounding sites. Check-in was super easy and Kazu was great to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Very good room. Very good host. He is very warm and helped me carry my luggage to the door of the room. He will respond to any needs in a timely manner. He is really a very good, very gentle person. The room is the same as the picture description. Clean and tidy. All the necessities are available. The location is also great. It is only a 6-minute walk from the subway station. There is a 711 in a 3-minute walk. It takes more than 10 minutes to get to Sapporo Station by subway. It is very convenient!I want to stay here again next time I come to Sapporo (o ^^ o)

I had a comfortable stay with warm, kind and polite service. There are also attractive shops nearby, and I thought I would like to visit again.My husband, friends, and dog all liked it and relaxed, and I'm really glad I chose ezora. The owner and the owner's dog were lovely.

I came to Otaru with my family for the first time after my second child was born. I was thinking about the accommodation, and I chose a place close to the canal. The host picked me up by car to the station. Thanks to the quick feedback, I came to the accommodation so comfortably. The price is also great and the room condition is the best. If I come to Otaru next time, I am 300% willing to revisit. I'm going back after seeing the host's kindness and the beautiful scenery. Best,😀

I stayed for 5 nights when I temporarily returned home this time. It was also a 10-minute walk from the station, and the bus stop was very convenient because it was just a short walk to the main street. I rented a rental bicycle in the neighborhood of the Otaru Canal for about two days, wandered around Otaru, got fresh seafood and deli food at a private store, cooked in the kitchen, and was able to do laundry, which was helpful.It was nice that the room was sunny, bright during the day, and privacy.Everything was clean, tidy, and had everything we wanted! It was also about a 30-minute bicycle ride to the Otaru Aquarium, so it was very fun to row a bicycle while watching the scenery. I think I will definitely take care of you the next time I come to Otaru♪ Thank you for a wonderful stay in Otaru!

Masaya and Keiko were wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make my stay very memorable, they are both incredibly kind despite the limited language barrier. Masaya drove me from Sapporo station and back on my last day, they also made me delicious home cooked dinner! I’m so thankful for their warm welcome and it was lovely to meet their family as well. I would definitely recommend staying in their accomodation, they also live in the same complex. The location itself is a short walk (about 10-12mins) from the closest station and is tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking to experience the everyday suburban life of Sapporo.

It was suitable for a family of 4 with a baby. It was a little disappointing to see the outside scenery because it was on the first floor, but the accessibility was good. The interior was cozy and comfortable. Overall, it was neat and especially nice to have items for babies. Thanks to you, it was a time to make good memories with my family. Thank you:)

The location was great! We were almost exclusively on foot. In 15 minutes we were at the Tower. Our day ticket for the subway was not worth it. The accommodation was spacious, we had our own kitchen and washing machine, that was great! The bed was also very cozy. It would be nice if you could open the window, but unfortunately that is not possible.

I let them both use it. It is one stop to Otaru Station, and the main branch of Rutao and the Music Box Museum are within walking distance, so I think it is easy to sightsee. There is a Seicomart on the way from the station, which is convenient. The room was tidy and clean, but the lighting in the room seemed dark. The amenities are perfectly stocked, and I think it is very convenient to have a microwave, toaster, and even a coffee machine.

In the room as in the pictures, it felt nice overall, except that the comforter in the living room had a lot of no grease stains left behind was a bit of a hindrance, other things were ok, the fridge had simple flavor. No toothbrush provided, no laundry detergent was a little inconvenient😝

I liked that the bedding was clean, the location was close to the main street, and I liked that I could see the canal from the veranda, and the host was kind.

We had a great stay, was a prime crashpd for backcountry missions 👌

The apartment was spotless, cozy, and came with its own designated parking spot and a lovely view. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the shower had fantastic water pressure—such a treat! Saeki-san was warm, responsive, and provided clear instructions that made both check-in and check-out seamless. This was easily the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at in Hokkaido. I highly recommend it—thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved Yumi’s place. Two things stood out. First, the home itself was very nice. It is on a high floor with a great view of the city. The beds are comfortable. The bath area has a very nice bathtub. And the dining room has a welcoming, rustic table. The space is decorated very well, but is not cluttered. Second, the location is excellent. It is very close to a subway station. And it has both a Lawsons and a Seven-Eleven nearby. It is also right next to a large, beautiful park. We were lucky enough to book Yumi’s place during the Sapporo festival in the park and had fun checking it out. Being an unfamiliar with Japanese and Sapporo, I found the paid parking lots to be confusing, but eventually figured it out. Also the security door to the elevator was confusing. Yumi explains what to do during check-in, but I still had some trouble. Despite these initial setbacks, we had a great time and I would choose Yumi’s place again the next time we are in Sapporo.

CP is 200%, enjoy it very much, more thoughtful design than many hotels, and I highly recommend coming here for a relaxing vacation!
