New cabin (2021) with high standard, ski in/out and space for 2 families. With 2 living rooms, everything is arranged for the well-being of all ages. The living room on the 1st floor has an open kitchen solution and a large living room table for delicious meals and lots of board games. Furthermore, there is an attic room, two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. The storage room has a washing machine and its own entrance door. There are 2 parking spaces outside the entrance. The area is used for both alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking, mountain biking, kiting, hunting and fishing. Daily ski track preparation. Have a nice trip!

Cabin on Åsen

Small cabin with charm on Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk uphill from the parking lot. Here you can experience a simple life without electricity and water. The way up is a nice walk, a bit heavy in some parts. Recommended to go up before it gets dark. Remember to bring good shoes and warm clothes. At the top awaits the prize, flat and nice with beautiful views :) Bunk bed in the kitchen, sofa bed in the living room. With a great view you can enjoy the tranquility of this peaceful place. Great hiking possibilities, swimming/fishing nearby. Many excursions from the place are available. Parking from the cabin is about 60 meters. There is electricity from the generator, drinking water in cans and rainwater for shower and washing up. Steep uphill to the cabin so not recommended for anyone who is bad for the legs or with infants. Simple cabin with good comfort. You are very welcome to a cabin with lots of charm and soul 🥰

It is eight minutes to drive to start of the alpine lift, and twenty minutes if you want to drive up the mountain. And if you want to ski up, the trails go over the fields all the way to the ski lift, provided there is enough snow. Or you can make your way along the old farm road through the forest.
