If you want to be in the middle of nowhere — in a good way — this is the place. The house has a beautiful facade with exposed local stone and bricks. It is well lit and ventilated with a lot of glass — blurring the lines between the indoors and outdoors. In the morning when you wake up, you may have a WTF moment when you look at the view in front of you. We reached the place at night and yet it was relatively easy to find. Jio mobile service works fine. The house is equipped with all the basics, and the caretaker & the host Megha are proactive in ensuring you have everything you need before check-in. When we were there, it was pouring, and a stream nearby was flowing. At night, you will hear frogs singing their hearts out. It is a cosy place to spend the weekend away but not too far from the city. Be sure to take your books along, you'll find many corners to settle in. The place has been designed thoughtfully. Amit and Caroline are great hosts and the property is exactly as they have described it. We booked in at the last moments (in fact a couple of hours before we headed in) and Amit was very responsive and helped us with all information that we needed. The place is located at about 2.5 hours drive from Mumbai (Airport) and an esy drive once you're out of Mumbai traffic. It is located in a beautiful outland with sparse civilization. That makes the getaway very peaceful and private. There's a lake within 5 minute walk - with lovely mountain views and green meadows. The house itself is very well equipped - simple and elegant. We cooked ourselves simple and delicious breakfasts with the ingredients and utelsils that were on the house. For the other meals there is a menu available from a nearby restaurant - but we did not venture in on that. Amit and Caroline's hosting was par excellence. They are great hosts - and have everything sorted, to make their guests comfortable. Great stay!

Waking up to the view of the lake from bed, with the soft sound of leaves rustling, was incredibly calming — it felt like nature’s lullaby. The space is cosy and thoughtfully set up, with a sweet little kitchen, all the essentials, and a lovely outdoor area with We played badminton, enjoyed quiet indoor games, and simply relaxed — it was everything we hoped for and more. The hosts were kind, responsive, and always just a text or call away, which made us feel truly cared for. Yes, it’s the wilderness, so a few bugs are expected — but honestly, the beauty of the place far outweighs that. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already dreaming of coming back for a longer stay. A perfect escape that fills your Heart 💓

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful farmhouse retreat! The villa was spotless and tastefully decorated, instantly making us feel at home. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Located conveniently close to Mumbai, it was a perfect weekend getaway. Communication was smooth—our hosts were responsive and thoughtful throughout. The place exceeded expectations with a lovely pool (plus a kid’s pool), toys for our little one, and books and board games for us. A perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, the home retains its farmhouse character with top-notch amenities. We especially loved the serene garden and orchard—perfect for morning coffee or unwinding at night. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials, and we felt completely safe and cared for throughout our stay. Huge thanks to Shridhar, Saloni, Adinath, and Shyamsundar for a truly memorable experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Yesterday, I visited with my team for a staff picnic, and I was truly delighted with the entire experience. The hospitality was beyond expectations, manager DhaniRam and the other three staff members were incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we felt completely at home. The stay was luxurious to another level, and it’s clear that the soul of Ekyam lies in its amazing team. Please don’t change them, they’re the reason the place feels so special. Well done to the entire staff!

We were 5 friends who booked this property last minute. It's definitely worth it for the view and location! The space is huge and can easily accommodate 7-8 people. From the lawn to the kitchen, house has been maintained very well and far exceeds your expectations. Host was helpful for giving food recommendations and contacts and reachable all the time. One suggestion would be to have a Cook at the property to make fresh food because once you step in you wouldn't wanna leave the property, but it's still manageable. :) Without any second thoughts will definitely come back.

It was a great stay. Enjoyed the decorations and the view was really amazing from the rooms as well as balcony. Everything was amazing.

Chaitanya’s place is beautiful. From hospitality to facilities, everything was spot on. Being closer to some of the best/must see places in Mumbai makes this facility even more amazing. If we visit Mumbai again, we would prefer to stay here again. Big shout out to the caretaker Mahendra who was absolutely welcoming and polite and offered us all the help needed.
