Monthly Rentals in Koufos

The owners of the Aelia house are very friendly hosts, who will do everything to make you feel comfortable (the refrigerator was already filled when we arrived)! The house has a balcony with a great view on the ‘white mountains’, where we had breakfast in the sun. The location is excellent, with Chania and Platania beach to the north, and places such as Lakkia and Omalos to the south. We were there at the end of November, when the oranges, mandarins, olives are ready to pick; you will find plenty of them around the house. The owners have a field with olive trees just a few minutes away, and one afternoon we helped with collecting them for a few hours, which was a great experience! (when you go to Crete during winter, you should check the accessibility of the places you want to visit, for example Samaria gorge is closed for public; still we could make some beautiful walks in the neighborhood of Omalos). All in all, we had a great stay at the Aelia house, thank you Poppy and Tzortzi!

the accommodation was a dream come true. a personal pool, our own fruits, only sheep and goats surrounding us. If the accommodation would have had a dishwater, it would have been even more perfect. one remark for the people interested in renting this accomodation: you need to drive about 200 meters on a gravel road. nothing too serious, but it has to be kept in mind

Sofia's place was excellent. It was quiet and relaxing with really nice views over the valley. She stocked the place with everything we could need to start the trip, including some fresh fruit from the area. She was easy to communicate with and very friendly. I'd highly recommend this location for anyone who wants a quiet place to explore the area for a few days.

If you are looking for a house to stay in peace and relaxation, this is for you. It is also equipped with everything you need, and more. Large, spacious and really tastefully furnished. There is also great attention to detail. Obviously you need a car to get around easily. Sofia is a special person, she has always been helpful to us. Thank you!
